"I'm getting pushed back and pushed back! I'm not making a single progress! Is he holding back?! Who is he?!" she thought frantically as she swung her blade menacingly and heard more soldiers swarming behind her.
She was slipping on the ground as the unknown Dark being began pushing her till she again reached the troops behind her. She abruptly elevated her right leg while sliding on the ground with her left. She kicked him in the chin with his right leg, causing him to fly up.
She then slit his chin. She made deeper slashes, and black blood began to trickle from his chest. Suddenly, the dark being gripped the blade of her sword, widening her eyes.
"Nice kick," he replied, smiling. He was poised to break the blade of her sword when the blade exploded into orangish red flames when she gripped her sword strongly with both hands.
The dark being was taken aback and stepped into a defensive stance, which he hadn't expected. His hand, which had grasped the blade of her sword, became scorched, toasty, and melted to the ground. But then the hand he used to grab it regenerated like nothing, and the dark being laughed brightly at her.
He notices the blade of her sword stop exploding into flames as soon as he gets some distance from her. It returns to being a normal sword, but the blade of her sword has changed color. It turned orange with pitch black.
"That took me a while, I got desperate and turned my sword flaming... If not, I'm done, It won't last long because of the bad effects on the human body," she thought as she began sprinting towards him.
The dark being pursues her as well. They both collided and exchanged blows with their blades and fists. They both flew behind one other and punched and threw her blade down with incredible force, breaking the ground and sinking them both.
They faced one other as Sakana swung her sword down and held it tightly against his head, and flames exploded on the blade of her sword. The dark entity quickly backed off as she was kicked. Her sword was kicked along with her as she slipped along the ground and reached the gate.
She notices the dark being rushing towards her in the distance. As soon as she approached him, she slashed her sword to the right and erupted into orange flames. As she saw the dark being two hands, she swung it wildly.
The dark being grunted as she stepped on her right foot and swung her blade from left to right, aiming for his neck. As a dark arrow soared from behind her, the dark being's eyes widened. It was also about to reach her, and she was going to reach his neck, when she was suddenly caught by an unknown swordsman and thrown to the right.
She sliced a tiny section of his neck and was shot in the chest by an unknown swordsman. She immediately stands when she hears the swordsman moaning. She looks down at the swordsman and recognizes him as Sukune. Her eyes widened as she noticed him with blood flowing from the side of his forehead. He stands grumbling while Sakana looks at the Dark being that was shot by an arrow.
"You fool! You shot me! I should've punched your head into pieces!" screamed the dark entity as she saw his hands heal and return to normal. He snatched the arrow from his chest and tossed it to the side.
When Sakana noticed Sukune grumbling, she exclaimed, "Sukune, stand!" He drew his sword with his right hand while catching his breath intensely.
Sukune turned his gaze to the left, seeing nothing but pitch black in the dark forest. He can't detect the unknown who shot the arrow and nearly killed her.
"Can you make your sword burst in blue flames, Sukune?" she asked as they noticed the dark thing giggling and steadily approaching the two.
"Yes, I can, but my sword is chipped... It got caught by a black flame, I'll tell you later," he said solemnly as she stood straight and moved into a defensive position. She did the same.
"Black Flames?!" she said in surprise as she noticed him nod. The dark being in the distance flew towards them unexpectedly. He kicked the ground with both feet and arrived at them two in less than a second.
They both threw their swords down and clashed violently with his fist, breaking the ground beneath them. The cracking sounds of the ground can be heard as dark roots abruptly ruined the ground beneath them and grasped both of their feet.
Their eyes widened as they became aware of another black figure approaching from behind. They can see the dark thing in front of them chuckling as Sukune suddenly broke free from the dark roots that had gripped both of his feet and his sword erupted into blue flames, forcing the dark being to retreat. Then he jumps to his right, cuts the dark roots beneath her feet, grabs her, and leaps up.
He then sprints back to the town in the middle of the air, as the other unknown dark being follows them from behind. She turned around as Sukune carried him back inside and into a much better location. She notices another dark figure wielding a sword in its right hand, and she notices black flames on his blade.
Sukune helps her to her feet, and they both stand. Sukune was experiencing severe weariness in both of his legs, yet he was still standing and moving freely. Both of his feet were heavy from sprinting nonstop all the way to Naruduna Village since the afternoon.
The unknown two dark being stand side by side, menacingly. Sukune and Sakana menacingly stroked their blades when they sensed the people behind them had been evacuated but the troops remained in a defensive position. They have shields and spears.
As the two dark entities in the distance giggled, an entire legion of darks appeared behind them in the pitch black. As Sukune and Sakana's eyes widened in dread, thousands of them began marching in.
"We can't handle them, Sakana! Those are beings! Not dark mobs or dark swordsmen! Fighting them means death, and we have time to evacuate the civilians, and let's hold them off while the soldiers leave," Sukune remarked, nodding. She turns around and orders the soldiers to flee. They saluted before taking off running.
Sukune and Sakana re-sheathe their swords, turn around, and begin sprinting back. The houses were being demolished, and a portion of the gate had already been destroyed.
"Run and run, but this day there will be no one left to remember your names... This village will be completely destroyed," the dark being stated who have the powerful fists. He started giggling as he watched.
In the distance. Almost all civilians were evacuated. They were in the village's far back gate, and the general was taking leadership because the village heads were nowhere to be found but they received orders including the Unknown Captain.
People were panicked, but the mystery general was handling them. Soldiers were scattered outside the settlement near the back of the gate, guarding the inhabitants fleeing. There was light everywhere except for the front gate which is now pitch black.
Raining piercing arrows were destroying the Naruduna Village's front gate walls. It caused holes in the walls since there was more than simply the army of darks. Giant beasts appeared out of the darkness. It took up half of the gate. It destroyed the second half of the gate, which was lying on the ground. It destroyed the other half of the gate and it got laid down on the ground.
The two dark beings had vanished, but they had followed Sakana and Sukune inside the village. They were on their way to the capital with the military. They were in the back, protecting the soldiers' lives. As the dark beings attacked the village mercilessly, the Naruduna Village become a deserted by upcoming morning.
The army of darks continues to rise through the front gate, as if they were clearing the entire settlement and reducing it into dust. Dark energy can also see where the darks are, and another unknown dark being appeared out of nowhere. A couple of them, wearing hoods and wielding spears, staffs, bows, and arrows.
