Sukune and Sakana were on their way to the capital. They could hear loud noises, including explosions, and after a few minutes of running, they could see the Capital in the distance. They were running down a path when Sukune abruptly kneeled to the ground. He was collecting his breath as he couldn't move his left leg but could raise his right. When Sakana turned around and saw him kneeling, she feared something was wrong because nothing would compel him to kneel. "What's the matter? Let's go! We need to leave, but first, let me see who's inside here!" she exclaimed as she noticed him straining to raise his left leg. He tried again and again, but it was as if it were heavier than giant rocks. "I can't... I've been running for almost half a day nonstop... I ran like hell to get here and now I can't raise it; this is the cost of pushing myself beyond limits," Sukune replied, her eyes widening. She immediately helps him by giving him a helping hand to stand. She helped him walk as Sakana senses that there was still someone in the capital. That made her eyes widen as she realized who it was. That made her eyes serious as she realized what needed to be done. They both arrive in the capital. There were no guards outside, only lights. Sukune touched her on the shoulder and nodded as they approached the stairs. "I sense someone inside, do what you're going to do, I'll try to recover here while they're not close," Sukune remarked as Sakana nodded. She forced him to sit on the stairwell. He sits down and relaxes his legs. She dashed inside as soon as she realized they were on the second floor. She sprints up to the Heads Office. She entered and her eyes widened as she saw Farrel looking out the window with unknown swordsmen standing in front of a couch. "What the hell are you doing here?! You're supposed to be evacuating! You're supposed to be leaving! Sir Farrel!" she raged as she neared Farrel in the distance. She comes to a halt when she notices an unknown swordsman to her left taking a step. Sukune emerged from behind her, unnoticed, shaking and having difficulty with his legs. Sukune dashes in front of her and groans. He casts a glance at the unknown, noticing a familiar face. The unknown has a scar on the left side of his cheek and a mask slung over his left shoulder. "Captain?" he asked, surprised, as Sakana walked past him on the right side. Farrel turned around in the distance of the room and approached the desk as she did. Farrel took a deep breath as she reached the other side of the desk. "Sakana... You have to understand that this is my Village, my Region, and if it dies, I'll die with it," Farrel replied, making Sakana angry. With her right hand, she removed her mask and made an angry look. "We can't afford to lose someone like you, Farrel! Why can't you see that?! Your people need you! They're being evacuated by the General, right? Then I'm pretty sure you told him to leave you with the Captain..." she sighs impatiently. "They have the General and my Daughter. They'll set out a new land for the people. I and the Captain will stay here and try to lower the damage. And about those reinforcements, about those swordsmen wandering around in our forest... Are they helping? I thought there are a few of them, Sakana. Superiors you said If I remember correctly," he said, Sakana's eyes widening as she remembered, but Sukune can be heard taking a deep breath. "They're dead... Farrel. They've been slaughtered horribly, I'm not sure how, but it only meant one thing: our enemies are far from superiors," Sukune stated, widening Farrel's eyes. He knew Sukune and Sakana had been reunited. He sighed with relief, but not completely because of the impending peril. "The Darkness will consume this village... I suggest you both leave, Sukune and Sakana. I didn't think you'd come here. You shouldn't have," Farrel murmured quietly, shaking his head left and right. They heard a tremendous boom near the capital, which worried the mystery Captain. "Farrel, this is also our home! We will fight for it! Captain... You're with me, before I walk into this village, I deployed a message to the heads of the City of Woods using a messenger bird. I got lucky to find one wandering in the forest. I don't know where the bird came from but it's worth the shot and the bird came from one of the hidden villages, I just hope it gets to them and got us reinforcements," Sukune said solemnly as that made them all a little relief. "Waiting for one or hoping for one won't get us anywhere. I strongly advise you both to leave! You both have something to accomplish, and I don't want that to perish," Farrel remarked in a high voice as he cleared his throat, and the tone in their room abruptly shifted. The unknown captain discovered it when he noticed someone entering the Capital through the main door. "We won't leave. Captain, stay with Sir Farrel... We'll lower the damage for the people by morning, don't die," Sakana whispered solemnly as the captain nodded. She turned around to see someone standing outside the door. She came to a halt when she noticed the door was open. Sukune turns around to see the unknown dark thing they fought earlier enter with a terrifying smile. "Ooh... What is this? A family reunion? Fancy, and quite the place. It's not safe, you know that?" the unknown muttered menacingly as he stood next to the the door, his fist clenched. They all made solemn expressions as Sakana wears his mask back and the mysterious captain moved to Farrel's side. "Oh, we are aware," she responded, making the mysterious being laugh and nod. As she drew her blade menacingly, he laughed. Suddenly, he shakes his head left and right. He quickly crouched, destroying the ground with his knee and punching it with his left fist. Then the roof above them was ripped off, revealing huge dark beasts larger than the capital building. The ground they were standing on was destroyed by the unknown being's fist, and the four of them fell. The mysterious captain grabbed Farrel and jumped out of the capital to get him to safety. Sukune and Sakana were left behind when they both vanished. They both dashed backward and reach the back of the capital building as it collapses. The capital's whole structure was destroyed. As the gigantic creature broke the structure in half and came toward them, they both held their swords menacingly. Sukune took off to his left, while Sakana took off to her right. They both noticed the creature charging toward the unknown captain as it ran by them. "He's charging at the Captain! What the hell is that supposed to mean? Are they aiming for high-quality leaders?!" Sukune and Sakana thought as they glance into the capital and see the unknown dark being smiling. They approached the unknown being as the ground they were standing on started to shake. In the distance behind the unknown dark being an army of darks can be seen behind him. It didn't frighten them, but it did strengthen them and get them eager. Sukune and Sakana's sword blades catch fire at the same time. They both looked menacingly as they approached the unknown, a good distance away from him. "I suggest you take a look at your surroundings... It's just darkness, isn't it? The Darkness will Consume this whole place and shred everything and its wall. I'm just sad that there will be no red blood splattered on the ground," the unknown dark being said menacingly as two unknown darks approached him from behind, each holding a staff and a book. "That's our line in terms of suggesting... I suggest you leave because we're going all out. Light will consume you! Your army of darks will be reduced to ashes by our blades!" she shouted as she menacingly stroked her blade and displayed an orange flame similar to Sukune. "Good! Good... That's exciting! That's excellent... I should reconsider my own next move now... Well, let's start the fun! And I'd like to say... My name is Forgerin... The Dark Being that will kill both of You!" Forgerin, the Dark Being, exclaimed. He suddenly pounded both of his hands together, causing the ground they were standing on to shake. The ground to Sukune's left suddenly shattered, resulting in a massive earthquake. The ground they were stood on was abruptly rising. Sakana looked to her right and saw they were in the middle of a massive block rising to the sky. As they rose at high speed, there was a force that rendered them immovable. Sukune sensed a massive pillar beneath him, rising to the ground they were standing on, with Forgerin alone in the distance. He abandoned his troops when they abruptly stopped rising. Forgerin exhales deeply and stretches his arms and shoulders. Sukune and Sakana took a look around and realized they were near the clouds. They were only 400 feet away from the clouds. "Tsk... This Dark named Forgerin is powerful... But I wonder what his limit is... The Naruduna Village is on top of a mountain, so I'm not surprised that we're near the clouds," Sukune mused as he saw Forgerin in the distance and continued to walk while smirking and creepily staring at them.
