Chapter 32 The Unknown Captain and Farrel

Forgerin took a step back as he noticed the mysterious captain in the distance had vanished. He was about to turn to the left when he noticed a blue light to his right.
His eyes widened as he noticed a blue sword approaching his neck. He trembles as he crouches, dodges his blade, and slides with both feet to turn around. When he turns around, he sees the unknown captain, who has vanished as soon as he turns around. When he caught sight of him, he was kicked in the right side of his face.
He was sent to his left, smacked his face to the ground, and rolled a few times before standing. He stood up and lifted both of his hands to form a fist in a protective stance.
His eyes widened even more as he noticed that the unknown captain's sword blade lacked the vivid blue flames. He then re-sheathed his blade, took a deep breath, and gazed deep into his soul.
"Is that all you've got?" the mystery captain inquired as both of his hands were severed. In terror, his eyes widened. He trembles even more, almost to the point of kneeling in dread, knowing that death awaits him.
"He cut me?! He cut me?!" he exclaimed angrily as he fully kneeled on the ground and noticed he was having difficulty regenerating both of his hands. He then returns his gaze to the unknown captain, who still has a solemn expression on his face. He wasn't laughing at all. He only made a serious expression.
"Seriously? You're already at your knee? Stand, fight. You're boring," the unknown captain stated menacingly as she sighs and started approaching him. Suddenly, Forgerin was back at his feet when he sees him approaching.
He took a few steps back as the mysterious captain in the distance sighed again and watched him to see what his next move would be. He then notices his hands regenerate in a split second. They stared at one other, eye to eye, without any intent, but Forgerin was terrified and shivering.
"You know, I can do this all day... I can look at you until the sun rises and kill you before you can react, so you won't kill others anymore. Now, I'm waiting to see how you fight because I don't like people who don't fight dying in such a lame death," the unknown captain said as he took another deep breath.
Farrel can be seen in the distance, to the left of the unknown captain. He was seated on the ground, staring off into the distance at the unknown Captain. He is sitting with his eyes open and doing nothing but watching.
"I wonder when they'll start fighting," Farrel wondered as he sighs and made an expressionless face while watching them from afar. There was no danger behind him because behind him was the back gate of the village.
It was still a long distance away, but people were still being evacuated, and the General was still present with a couple of soldiers. Almost all of them had evacuated, but Farrel stood at the distance, not giving any vibes but supporting the unknown captain.
"You are a swordsman with a bright blue flame... Who are you?" He inquired, prompting the unknown captain to nod and clear his throat. He kept debating whether or not to respond to his question.
"You know, asking those questions is now pointless. I only want you to fight me head-on, with no other excuses, talk, or questions. You're done, accept it, and just die with honor," the mysterious captain responds, dodging his true query. He began approaching Forgerin in the distance, who began backing off as soon as he saw him approaching.
Forgerin abruptly turned around and began sprinting away. He was fleeing for his life as he smashed two houses with both of his fists. He fully destroyed the two houses before flying into a path and running into the darkness. He turned to the right and blended in with a couple of dark rioters causing havoc on the ground.
"Damn it! Damn it! There's no other way! I'm a coward... I need to become stronger," Forgerin thought as he ran and heard slashes from behind.
He comes to a complete halt, banging against a home wall as he turns around. When he turned around, his eyes widened as he saw the unknown captain in the air dash towards him, holding his sword in his right hand.
He could see a dark mob's head in his left hand, which was slowly turning to dust. He notices gloves on his hands as soon as he turns into dust. He was wearing it while looking at his sword. The blue flames on his sword's blade were dense and dancing swiftly.
"You can never run from your fear... The only thing you need to do is face it and overcome it," the unknown captain whispers. Forgerin heard it very clearly as suddenly he started having flashbacks.
As soon as he was approached, the mysterious captain slashed his sword from right to left towards his neck. He was about to decapitate him when the mystery captain landed both feet on the ground and came to a halt before he could slash and decapitate him.
"You have emotions...? Who are you?" The unknown captain asked as he punched the blade of his sword with both of his fists. It didn't flinch which made Forgerin trembles for a second. He immediately dashed to his right and keep running away from him.
He remains on his ground, watching Forgerin fade away to his left in the distance. As dark mobs began to swarm all over his surroundings, his eyes widened in shock. He sighs and moves around, disappearing before the dark hordes reach him.
They all turned to dust as soon as he vanished in the blink of an eye. Farrel gently stands up and raises his head to stare at the moon in the dark sky. It was lovely, and it's with the stars.
The mysterious captain materialized out of nowhere in the thin air in front of him. He sighs and lowers his head as he re-sheathes his blade. He then raised his head and briefly closed his eyes.
"Captain, clear the entire village, and by the upcoming sunrise, the General will check to see if it's safe; for now, let's hide high in the mountains," Farrel said, looking at the unknown captain in front of him, who nodded and grinned.
Farrel turned around and began walking towards the back of the Naruduna Village gate. As the unknown captain turned around, he was alone. He had a vague memory of meeting Forgerin somewhere previously, which made him ponder.
When he turned around and was about to move, he felt the presence of Sukune and Sakana to his left. He sensed Sukune's presence receding, so he dashed toward where they were. He notices that they are in a house, and their feeble presence is being obscured.
He arrives at the house, and Sakana immediately points her blade at him. She was taken aback when she saw the captain. He dashes towards Sukune, who is lying on the ground. He sighs as he checks his wound and realizes it is worst.
"C-Captain... I'm sorry, I was in the way, I was the one who was always getting saved," she wailed silently as she kneeled near Sukune's head. As the unknown captain began to treat him, Sukune was completely unconscious.
"Sakana, he'll be fine, bring him to the General in the far back gate of Naruduna Village, he'll be treated there, and don't come back here, I'll clear the entire village myself," the mysterious captain remarked as he saw her bow. She then sighs and gets to her feet. She was carrying Sukune, and they both vanished in an instant.
When the unknown captain draws his sword, it bursts into blue bright flames that dance in the blade. He raised his head to stare at the ceiling and then vanished as the blade of his sword burst into flames, giving him a menacing appearance.
Inside the Naruduna Village, there were more than a thousand dark legions. They were nearly finished demolishing half of the village. The massive front walls, as well as the entrance gate, have collapsed. It was completely destroyed, and two unknowns were still fighting outside the village's front gate.
The unknown captain could obviously sense it as he dashed around the village near the front gate clearing a whole plot of land. He was quite cautious, and he had a plan in place from the outset. An explosion occurred out of nowhere, blowing his hair and cape far away. As he sighs, he senses it came from outside the village, which causes him concern.
