Thank you! ] • • 1 • • / LIYANA'S POV "Not because you look like a foot means you had the right to step unto others." I spoke making all of them look at me offensively. It's my first time stepping foot here at the academy and it looks like I'm already in trouble. Well, I wasn't suppose to mind them but I don't like how they are bullying someone who is obviously weaker than them. "What did you just say?" The lady in white, who seems to be the one behind this bullying asked me in an angry tone. I look at her and her looks, her posture and everything about her screams arrogance. Feeling main character. Tsk. "I am asking you what did you just say? Aren't you going to answer me?" She spoke rudely. What a b*tch. "Do I have to repeat what I just said? You heard me. Not unless you're deaf." I said in monotone. Everyone gasp. Including her. "What is she doing? Aren't she afraid?" I heard someone from the crowd said. Why is that? Is everyone's scared of her? She doesn't look so powerful though. "Pretty bold huh." She said, her aura started to change as she look at me. Her eyes are piercing through me like she is telling me she could wipe me out right here where I am standing. And if I am so brave earlier, now I just wanted to leave right this instant. My 99% confidence swiftly dropped at negative one. But not because that I am scared that I wanted to get away from this chaos. Before entering the academy, I promised mother that I will never get myself in trouble but now, I think we're going at the exciting part already. "Let's see how brave you are," she spoke again when she didn't get a response from me. And before I could think of how I could get away from this, I felt myself being lifted up in the air. Everyone gasp including me when I realized my feet is no longer at the ground. What the! I looked down and found her smirking at me before she turned around to leave. Oh no. "YA WAIT! PUT ME DOWN! DON'T GO!" I yelled at her but she didn't look back anymore until she was out of my sight. B*tch. "HELP ME GET DOWN PLEASE!" I called out everyone who are left but they are just looking at me up here in the air, clueless of what to do. They are pointing at each other who would volunteer to help me here and looking at their worried faces and all, they don't know how to help me making me sigh. "I thought they are smart and well-trained," I said looking at them. "Guess all those rumors are just talks tsk." That girl only cast a wind spell on me. And you can break the spell by controlling the wind. As easy as that but everyone looks so fazed making me think, do the teachers in the academy doing there part in teaching them how to use magic? "WON'T ANYONE HELP ME?!" I called again. I tried to move my feet but I can't. So am I suppose to stay here until dawn? "WAIT! HANG IN THERE!" Someone yelled. One minute. Five minutes. Ten minutes. I patiently waited but no one step forward to help me leaving me no choice but help myself. I'll be here until night if I would just wait for them to help me. I hastily break the spell totally forgetting that if I do, I'll fall to the ground. "YAH HELP ME!" I screamed hoping someone would catch me. Who knows, right? Maybe someone would. And yes. Someone catch me. I mean, something. The cold floor catch me. "Ouch." I groaned in pain. "Why didn't you helped me?!" I said at the students around me making them look anywhere but me. Tsk. I think I just broke my bones on my back and on my feet. "Are you okay? Gosh, I am so sorry." The girl that is bullied earlier approach me. "I am so sorry," She said once again, her face is so pale and she is very worried. "Why didn't you helped me?" I asked her. "I'm sorry," She said. "Well, uhm, we were suppose to help you but then you suddenly fell from the top." She explained, nervousness visible in her voice. "Can you stand?" She added. I rolled my eyes. Is she seriously asking me that? Of course not. I fell at the ground can't she see? Tsk. I look at my feet. Gosh, I felt like I won't be able to walk for weeks. Poor me. "I'm sorry," She spoke again. "Let me bring you to the clinic to get you treated." "Okay." My first day here is incredibly amazing. That even the teacher on duty at the clinic is surprised to see me there early in the morning in the first day of class. Funny isn't it? "I'm really sorry you--" "I already told you it's fine. Stop saying sorry. And even at other circumstance, I'll speak up nonetheless. And next time, don't let others look down on you. It isn't wrong to fight back sometimes especially if what you're fighting for is right." I told the girl who was bullied earlier. After I was treated, we are now walking to our first class and I am thankful she didn't leave me. "I'll keep that in mind. I'm sorry again." She smiled at me. "By the way, my name's Snow." "Liyana," I introduced myself. "You are new here right?" She ask and I nodded. "Me too," she said. "But I was here even before the class started. The academy had lots of rooms and I stayed here beforehand." I quietly nodded letting her know I am listening even if I am not talking. I just don't have anything to say because I don't know anything about the academy. I am yet to research about it. "We're here." She stopped at a double sided door and gestured me to get in first. This must be our room. I nodded opening the door and walked inside. I-- "MOVE ASIDE!" I looked infront of me when I heard someone yelling. Is he talking to me? "I SAID MOVE!" I blinked my eyes when I saw a book flying to my direction. "YA! WAIT.. WHAT--" And I stopped talking when the book hit my head dropping me at the floor. "Ouch!" I groaned touching my forehead. I felt like my head is sliced into two. Snow rushed to me and quickly helped me to get up. "YA! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" I yelled at the guy who threw the book after recovering from the pain. "I told you to move. Stupid." What? My brain stopped functioning as soon as I heard what he said. Did he just call me stupid? "What?" I asked unbelievably. But to my surprise, he went back to his seat like nothing ever happened. "Hey!" I called him out. "Aren't you going to say sorry? Atleast?" "No." He said simply. "I told you to move but you didn't. It's not my fault you are stupid." My mouth hang open and stared at him in disbelief. This guy clearly have no manners at all and is purely rude. How dare him call me stupid when it's clearly his fault? I picked up the book at the floor and held it firmly in my hands. Stupid huh. "Hey Liyana, what are you planning to do?" Snow whispered to me. "Teaching someone a lesson," I smirked at her. "What?" "HEY MOVE!" I yelled. Everyone from the room look at me confused and without second thought, I threw the book at the guy and it landed at his face perfectly. "F*CK!" He screamed loudly in pain. Deserved. "F*CK! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" He yelled at me. "Oh," I smirked. "I told you to move but you didn't. It's not my fault you are STUPID."
