/ LIYANA'S POV
"They are all good looking isn't it?" Mina asked me, referring to that guardians she is talking about.
I look at them and shrugged. "I don't know."
"What do you mean you don't know? Can't you see? They are all charming!" Mina exclaimed and I have to roll my eyes at her exaggeration.
"Yeah right whatever you say," I told her and turned my back walking to where I am headed previously.
I haven't seen their faces as they are a bit far from where we are standing but I can say they're good looking but who cares about that right now when I am lost here and don't know how to go back in Rivendell.
"Everyone in the city adore them you know? Be it children or adults, men or women," Mina continued following me.
"Really? Who are they anyway?" I asked and instead of giving me a proper answer, Mina hit me in the shoulder.
"Yah look at you. I just told you they are the guardians. Are you paying attention to what I am saying?" She asked dramatically.
I chuckled. "Duh I know they are the guardians and so what? What about them?" I said.
"I told you they--"
"My lady! My lady! Wait!" A girl held us back from walking making us stop.
"Why?" Mina asked and the girl smiled.
"The guardians wanted to talk to you." She said looking only at me.
"Huh? Me? Why?" I asked and look at Mina asking her to explain what's going on.
But she shrugged. "I don't know.." Geez.
And minutes later, the 'guardians' she keeps on blabbering about is standing right infront of us.
And I don't know but as soon as I landed my gaze on them, I felt my heart jump in joy seeing their faces. My heart was beating loud and fast and my breathing hitch that I have to step backwards pulling in as much air as I could into my lungs.
"Hey Liyana, are you okay?" I heard Mina asked me making me look at her.
"Huh? Yes I'm fine," I lied. I can still hear the loud thumping of my heart. What's happening to me?
"Okay," Mina said. "Greet them."
"Greet them?" I asked her confused and she nodded.
Frowning, I look at them and it seems they're actually waiting for me to greet them since they are just looking at me with unexplainable emotions.
I look at Mina and she nodded at me.
"Go on. I already gave my greeting because you are not paying attention." She whispered and I rolled my eyes.
I look at them again and smiled. Gladly, my heart is now beating in it's normal pace. Maybe I was just nervous and stunned when I first saw them earlier that's why my body reacted that way.
"Hello.." I greeted them while putting on my best smile to hide my nervousness but I heard Mina gasp beside me and then a pinch on my side followed respectively.
"Ouch! What? Why?" I exclaimed but she is looking at me wide eyed.
"That's not the way to greet girl. Do it properly." She said.
"Huh? Should I greet them good morning then?" I asked and her mouth hang open at my answer making me laugh at her reactions.
"What?" I asked her but immediately stopped laughing when I realized the guardians are looking at us. I mean at me. I cleared my throat.
"Ahm, good morning.." I said and look at them. "You--" But I was cut off when the purple-haired girl spoke.
"You are back! You're really back!" She exclaimed and what she did next froze me in my spot.
She run towards me and gave me a tight hug. A very tight hug but it wasn't suffocating at all. Infact, it feels warm and comforting.
And I didn't get to move anymore when her other companion, the blonde girl stepped forward too and join the hug.
"God you are really back Aya." I heard her mumble. Her voice even cracked a little making me confuse and lost.
What did she just call me? Aya?
My eyes were wide both in confusion and shock just like how everyone around us is. Why are they suddenly hugging me? Do they know me? But that's impossible. It's my first time coming here. Wait, no. I didn't came here. I was drag here accidentally.
"Why you didn't inform us you are back?" The purple-haired girl asked me after breaking the hug.
"Right I thought it wasn't you for a minute but girl you're back!" The blonde girl added and hug me again.
"Gosh I missed you!" She exclaimed.
"Aya is that really you?" The guy with them asked and move forward too.
"Right," Mina suddenly exclaimed beside me. "I was thinking earlier because you really look familiar it's because you are Aya." She said nodding to herself.
Now I am confuse one hundred percent. What are they talking about? And why do they keep on calling me Aya? That's not even my name.
"Wait.. wait.." I said stepping backward and look at them.
"Do you know me?" I ask them frowning and the blonde girl smiled warmly.
"Of course," she said. "How could we forget you just because you left us three years ago." Huh? Who left? Me?
"You did change a bit Aya that I fail to recognize you earlier but it's nice to see you back," The guy spoke. What?
"Gosh you're even prettier now," the purple-haired girl added and that's when I spoke before things go wrong.
"Wait wait you need to slow down," I said and look at them. "You guys are misunderstanding something here. You are wrong."
"Huh? Wrong?"
I nodded. "Yes you guys are wrong," I said.
"My name js Liyana, not Aya." I told them.
"You are mistaking me as someone else. It's my first time here and I don't know any of you." I explained.
And I was startled when they shouted all at once.
"WHAT?!"
