"It's really fantastic here wow," Jas muttered in so much awe as we enter Erilya's gate.
"Well they are earth elementalist for a reason." Calla responded appreciating the environment too.
Erilya's entrance is covered with fully bloomed tulips with butterflies guarding it. Along the pathway as you enter are different green plants that were carefully arranged and designed in heart shape.
Everything just looks fantastic that Jas keeps on saying 'wow' as we enter inside. Can't blame her though. Every plants and flowers is green and blooming. The fresh and cold wind is also therapeutic.
I am with Jester, Calla and Jas and we are here at Erilya, Aya's hometown.
We just can't get over the fact that Liyana is a different person.
And we don't plan at any means to harm her but I think the fact that we're insisting she is Aya that she ran away and we were not able to find her in Cassopeia. Maybe she already went home.
Max also said she is telling the truth. That she don't know us and that she is Liyana, not Aya. Honestly, me too. I know she isn't lying. Eyes don't lie you know but it's just that she totally looks like Aya. Not just from her appearance but her voice too.
And Miss Scarlett confirmed to us that Aya went home at her hometown. It's where she went after she left three years ago without informing us. And so we decided to come and see to clear the misunderstanding once and for all. If she is here then Liyana is a different person that's for sure.
"This is it. We will know the truth when this door opens." Calla announced.
We are standing outside the house of Aya.
"God why am I so nervous?" Jas said holding unto me to calm herself. I chuckled.
"Don't worry. I felt the same way too." I told her.
For some reason, I am nervous. Maybe because we will finally know the truth after this.
Witnessing your friend not able to recognize you is heartbreaking so I am hoping Aya is here so that the pain from earlier will vanish.
Well, we aren't really sure if Aya is here as she didn't tell us anything after she left three years ago. We are so worried about her and even planned to find her but we are told that she's safe and we have nothing to worry about and that we just wait for her to come back on her own. And then suddenly Liyana happened confusing us real hard.
"Okay here we go.." Calla said and was about to knock at the door when someone shouted.
"Hey wait!" And there was Max running towards us.
Jas quickly smacked his head. "Why do you have to shout? You startled me!"
"Why do you have to hit me? That hurts," he complained.
"I thought you said you don't want to come?" Jester asked Max frowning. Right. We asked him to come with us but he refused.
"Well I changed my mind. I wanted to see for myself that Aya is really here and that we are really really wrong about Liyana," he said.
I smiled. Of course he will come. It's his ex girlfriend we are talking about.
"Alright then," Calla said and knocked at the door.
Minutes later, Aunt Leya, Aya's mother, appeared at the door quickly smiling when she recognized us.
"Calla is that you? Serena?" She asked while looking at us. "Jester and Max you are here too?" She asked surprised.
"Greetings Aunt," We said smiling at her. She was surprised to see us and probably didn't expect us to appear at their doorstep unannounced.
"Why you guys didn't tell me you are coming? I should've prepared something. Come in," she said and led us inside their house.
"Come and have a sit," she said smiling at us. "Gosh, to what pleasure that you guys came here? You got me by surprise."
"We apologize Aunt," Calla said and chuckled. "It's just that we missed Aya and planned to pay her a visit. Is she home?" She asked immediately.
Now, this is the moment of truth.
Aunt Leya smiled and seated infront of us.
"I've been meaning to visit Cassopeia for some time now but because of certain responsibilities, I never had the chance to do so." And she sigh deeply.
Is something wrong? I glance at Jester and he shrugged. Oh my god.
"Anyway, I am glad you all came here yourself. You can help me make this known to her highness." She stood up and called us. "Come with me."
We all look at each other confused but stood up anyway and followed Aunt.
She led us to an underground room that I almost hesitate to enter inside. What if..please no.
"I am scared to see what's inside." Jas whispered to me. Fear evident in her voice.
I grab her hands and held Calla's hands too.
"It will be okay. Don't worry. Come on" I said and we followed Aunt, Jester and Max who already entered inside.
"WHAT.."
That was the first thing that came out from my mouth. I immediately look at Max and he could barely stop himself from shaking as he stared at the body before him that is almost unrecognizable.
"Aunt..what..what is..Is she.." Calla said unable to finish her sentence.
Jas who is beside me is stunned and me? I don't even know what I should be feeling right now. I just hope that I am dreaming.
Aunt Leya look at us calmly.
"I know I should have made this matter known to her highness but I was in agony after what happened that I couldn't think right. And it was also foolish of us to think that we could solve this matter on our own just because." She said.
"The body that you are seeing right now.." I heard Aunt Leya said and I swear I momentarily stopped breathing.
If only I could shut my ears right now so I won't hear anything. I can't bear--
