/ LIYANA'S POV
"How did that happen?" Snow muttered and look at me.
"I don't know," I shrugged. "Hey stupid, you said that annex is dangerous, did you already enter there?" I asked him and he frowned at me.
"I told you my name is Jian. Stop calling me stupid," he retorted huffing in annoyance.
I chuckled. I didn't ask his name even after we are called at the teachers office since I left him after sealing his mouth but he introduced himself and said his name is Jian. But I prefer to call him Stupid.
"Stupid suits you though," I said and he glared at me.
"Whatever. I'll still keep calling you Stupid." I said.
Fortunately, I successfully get back here at Rivendell after teleporting and found Snow and Stupid at the hallway to my room who seems to be waiting for me. They said they entered the annex to find me but they were dragged at a forest and now we are at my room discussing about it.
"Right did you tell our teacher about this?" I asked them.
"Nope," Snow answered. "We agreed to let them know if you don't come back after dawn but you're already here so."
I nodded. "Okay."
"The rumors are true then," Stupid suddenly spoke. "That annex is a portal that will lead you at any place. I heard some students discussing about it but I ignored it as I didn't care."
"Ohh? It must be true then. Since Liyana said she was in Cassopeia and then we at a forest," Snow said. "But who built it anyway?" She asked.
Right. Who would build something like that. It's dangerous honestly. And it's even inside the Academy.
"I don't know. But I think that annex had been there even after the war. It is sealed with magic so it wasn't broken." Stupid said.
"That makes sense as it constantly change to a door and then a wall and then a building," I commented. I didn't notice it was sealed with magic though. Snow and I failed to see that.
"Teacher should teach us about Rivendell's history. There are so many stuffs that we don't know about honestly." Snow said who is so invested at the topic.
But she got a point though. I honestly doesn't know anything about Rivendell. Except it's name. That's why I tried to find the library to look for an information but I found that annex instead.
"About that, I don't think they will consider discussing about history. When this place is restored after the war, every book and any stuffs related to Rivendell was swept away. Only it's name that remained so no one knew about it's history or any other stuffs about the past." Stupid explained.
That's horrible. How could they do that?
"Even the elders refuse to say anything about the past," Stupid added.
"Maybe that's also why Mother refuse to tell me anything about Rivendell." I said now getting answer to my whys.
"Wow," Snow muttered who looks so lost. "All those stuffs you are saying are making my head ache seriously."
"How about you? Don't you know anything about Rivendell?" Stupid asked her.
"Nothing," Snow said and I chuckled silently. Goodness this girl. "I only came here to learn about magic and that's all." Same girl same.
"What? You are unbelievable." Stupid remarked. "What a useless human being," I heard him mumbled but good thing Snow didn't heard it. Goodness this guy really just run his mouth and doesn't care if he offends someone. Tsk.
"Who restored Rivendell anyway?" I asked. "We don't have a ruler right?"
"As far--"
"That I know!" Snow exclaimed interrupting Stupid of what he's about to say.
She cleared her throat, fixing her hair like she is about to take a speech infront of many people.
"Rivendell did had a Queen before and she ruled really well leading Rivendell to prosperity but it's also because of her that Rivendell collapsed."
"Huh?" I frowned. "How come?"
"Well, according to my father her greed and will to attain more power led Rivendell to it's downfall," she shrugged. "And that it's her sister who pushed her to do that."
"Sister you said?" Stupid asked and Snow nodded. "Oh I didn't know the Queen had a sister." Stupid said in wonder.
"Now I am the one who's lost," I said. Seriously, after being sick for a long time, when I woke up, I don't have any recollection about the past. Just some vivid memories from my childhood that I remember.
Snow chuckled. "Don't worry. That's all that we know but I still feel lost about all this."
"Anyways, Rivendell is co-ruled by Cassopeia now." Snow said. "So when you said you were at Cassopeia, I felt relieved. In any case, if you didn't came back we could find you there." She said smiling at me.
"So Cassopeia is related to Rivendell?" I asked and Snow nodded.
"Yes. But how come you don't know about that place when it is pretty famous?" She asked frowning.
I sigh. "I didn't tell you about this but I was sick for a long time that when I recovered, I have no recollection of the past."
"What?" Snow look at me suddenly worried that I have to smile to assure her I am fine.
"Don't worry I am fine now. I was treated by the best physician here and she told me my memory will come back soon." I smiled.
"Gosh that's good to know," She said relieved.
And then Stupid spoke making me look at him.
"You should be careful then. Aside from you don't know anything from the past, you also don't know anything about the present."
I glared at him. "Are you worried about me or are you mocking me?"
"Both." He said and a magic ball immediately hit his face.
"Ouch!" He groaned.
"I am still curious though about the annex. Does it have some sort of destination?" Snow asked ignoring Stupid who is groaning in pain. I smiled. That's my girl.
I look at her and joined in ignoring Stupid. "What do you mean?" I asked.
"You see, it led you to Cassopeia but when we enter, it led us at the forest. Does it have a certain destination that changes every time someone enters?" She asked curiously.
And that made me think. I didn't thought about that but Snow did have a point. That annex is full of mystery and maybe we could find out something in there hmm
"What if we go and check?"
And just as curiousity got the best in us, we secretly made our way to the annex. We even almost got caught by the guard in the station but we manage to escape.
"Did you also teleported back here?" I asked Snow and Stupid and they nodded.
"Alright. We could just teleport back once we already confirmed our hunch. Let's go then." I said but Stupid stopped me.
"Wait. If we all go together then we can't confirm if the annex really changes it's destination to every person that enters. What if we enter one by one?" He suggested.
I look at Snow and she shook her head no.
"You are right but we'll go together and you'll go by yourself." Snow said and cling into me.
"What?" Stupid asked not liking what Snow just suggested. "What about me?"
"What do you mean what about you?" Snow frowned. "You just said we shouldn't go all together so you'll go by yourself and we'll go together."
"You'll go together and I'm alone? Come on that's not fair." Stupid complain. Goodness he's unbelievable.
Snow rolled her eyes. "What do you want me to do then? I'll cut myself in two so I could go with you too?"
That's when I laughed but also stopped when I had flashbacks of a scenario of two people bickering like that. Huh what was that?
"Don't be a kid and just go," I heard Snow said bringing me back to reality and before Stupid could react, Snow pushed him inside and the door closed.
I laugh. "Ya how could you be so harsh to him?" I asked Snow who just smirked.
"Don't worry about him. He can manage."
"Let's go then before someone see us here," I said when the door opened again.
"Okay."
We entered inside and the door closed and darkness surrounded us. A cold wind engulfed us for five good seconds and when I felt a fresh air touched my face, I am sure we are already in another place.
"Liyana, are we there yet?" I heard Snow asked.
"Yes but I don't know where since my eyes are still closed." I said.
"Me too. I'm afraid to open my eyes." And she laughed.
I chuckled. "Alright, let's open our eyes together in one, two--"
"Liyana? Snow?"
