Morning came, I woke up feeling something; like happy? And Satisfied? It's my first time waking up with this kind of feeling since I meet Hunter and his gold-digger girlfriend; Melanie. I did my morning routine and went downstairs to see Shane having breakfast with Noah, Ayden, and Garry in the kitchen.
"Morning?" I greeted them. They all look at me, Garry runs to me and hugs my feet. "Hi, little boy, morning." I mess his hair, he smiles at me before he went back to his seat beside his father, Noah.
"How's your day?" Ayden asks, more like how's your yesterday? I scoff.
"What happened to your cheek?" Noah asks. My brows furrowed at him, not getting what he means. I lift my hand and put it to my cheek and felt it stung when I touch it. I also felt a little scratch into it.
I rush beside Shane and Ayden and took Shane's phone to put it on camera and look at my cheek. It has a little scratch and it seems like it is just new. How come I didn't know about this? Wait! She might get the scratch when Hunter nudge my mask last night!
"Where did you get that?" Ayden asks.
"I don't know." I shrug my shoulder.
"You're being Cinderella yesterday, huh? Is it fun portraying Cinderella?" Shane teases.
"Yeah, of course, it is fun, but she didn't totally run away, the prince caught him," Noah said. They all still looking at me with teasing looks.
"Our ship is sailing!!" They all cheered making me cover my ears.
"Stop, we're not sailing. He might drink all the alcohol in that event and don't know what he's doing and did that. That didn't mean something, now give me some pancakes." I went to them and was about to take some but when Noah pulled it away from me. "What?"
"Mean nothing? I thought you love him? Didn't your heart beat faster?"
"No. Stop talking about yesterday, I'm not in the mood to go back to that day and recall what happened there. How did you saw us when you did not attend the event?" He chuckled.
"I am in there, you didn't see me? Well, I didn't ask you for a dance so you probably didn't saw me and I am sitting behind you guys. Ayden knows I am there." I look at Ayden while he gave me his sorry look while shrugging his shoulder. "I saw all that happened there, while you two doing all your work, I take a peek through the door."
I cursed at him while gritting my teeth. "Come here!" He stands up from his seat and runs around the house while I am here, chasing this childish guy.
After running around the house, I get my revenge on him by just picking his ear and we both went to where the others are and eat our breakfast. I tell them what happened yesterday, why I look upset when I walk out of the restroom. Nothing can be seen in their face but the burning gaze and also gritting teeth.
"Eyy, stop overreacting." Noah scoff.
"How can we not overreact when she was about to hurt you? What if she caught you off guard? Then your precious nose may be bleeding until now." I click my cheek inside, glaring at Noah.
"You making fun of me since this morning, huh? Wait 'till I tell this to Gabby." I rolled my eyes at him, I thought he would be scared but he challenge me!
"You should have told me early yesterday so I punch her face so we can be more satisfied than seeing you both being lovely dovely.." I playfully punched her chest.
"Enough with me." I turn around to face Shane with my body, eating the last pancake on the plate. "How's the dance, huh? Mr. Morley and Ms. Rodriguez?" I teased, motioning my brows up and down at them.
"They both had fun last night since I saw them laughing." Noah retort before Shane could respond. Shane's cheeks slowly turn red after hearing my question and still have after Noah speak.
Ayden and I look at Noah with unbelievable looks, "How can you see our move every minute? Are you stalking us from far?" Ayden asks.
"You little— how can we not notice you?!" He giggles as I pinch his ear again making him groan in pain.
"Lira, why are you pinching my dad's ear? It hurts." I look at Garry who's innocent-looking at us.
"Baby, your daddy is naughty so he deserves being pinch. Don't be stubborn so you can't be a pinch in-ear too, okay?" He nods his head as I loosen my grip from Noah's ear and caressed Garry's head. I glared one last time at Noah before looking at blushing Shane and Ayden who's being silent.
"We both introduced our partner to each other, that's it." I look at Ayden, shock, not believing he just did that.
"You both did what?!"
"Why?" Ayden asks, looking at my expression.
"So you're telling me you guys can't be sail anymore?! How can you be so rude?!" I overreact and they both love it.
"Yes, I am planning to propose to Lany here, she said she wants to visit here so I said she can and next week, she will be flying here so yeah."
I am getting near to burst into tears, "Don't you know I wait for years just to hear and see you asking her to be your girlfriend, and now—" I wipe my tears, dramatically.
"You should have study drama so you know how to cry with tears and more dramatic so we can feel it," Shane said, sarcastically. I nudge her.
"I hate you, you know that? And you too!" I point at Ayden who's stopping himself from laughing. "Aren't you happy? You want to see me asking someone to marry me right?" I glared at him.
"Yes, I want you to ask Shane! In front of me!" I playfully hit his chest, "Hope you get rejected." Noah burst out laughing while Ayden glared at him.
"It's not good for a sister to bless you before you ask that someone marry you," Noah said in between his laughter. Ayden look at me, shocked and soon he clasped his both palm while I still glaring at him.
"Hey, my princess, I love you, please don't do this to me. Hmm?" I shook my head before sticking out my tongue and run to my room. "You can sleep the whole day if you want and I won't bother you, but please, take back what you just said.." I did not reply.
"Alexandria!!!" He shouts full of range. I laugh out loud, keep on shouting like that and you might lose your voice and can't ask your girlfriend to marry you. Then I will be happy. I mentally laugh at my victory.
The weekend came without any problem. I can sleep the whole day if I want and waking up with such a very comfortable position and blanket all over my body. I don't know if I am dreaming or not but I heard Hunter's voice saying 'Sleep well' to me, in a whisper to my ears. It's clear but I don't know if I am dreaming or real.
Then when I woke up, the blanket was covering my body and the air conditioner turned off and I don't remember turning it off and I remember covering my lower body when I sleep and the window is fully open and the thick silk in my curtain was set aside while the thin silk-like a net was flying because of the wind.
Well, maybe because Ayden went inside and see me cold.
It was now Tuesday, we have a meeting again, not with the parents but all the teachers. "So as I said yesterday, the owner of this school came. He arrived in the city last week but don't have time to visit the school and meet the new teachers." The headteacher look at me and Shane as we both nod then bowed.
"We still have classes and the owner of this school will arrive here this afternoon." We all nod, "That's all for today, Mary Chris, guide the new teachers about what they have to do before and during and after Mr. came." She nod.
In the middle of the meeting with the president of the school, my phone rings. I sigh and tilt my head in annoyance and also embarrassed, I am sitting in front of Shane and we're close to the president. He stops at his sentence and looks in my direction, I stand up and get my phone to my bag and cancel the call, not having time to see the caller I.D.
I bowed at the president, "I'm sorry, Mr. President, I'm sorry for my careless attitude." I continued to bow to him.
I hear him chuckle, "It's okay, Ms., stop bowing, I am not strict." I back away, he's not strict?
"Who calls you in the middle of the meeting?" Shane asks as we made our way at the gate of the school, ready to go home.
"I don't know, I don't have time to see who is it." I shrug my shoulder. I was about to look at my side to see if her car was already there but a black Audi came faster than light causing wild air to pass through us. I was about to curse on whoever it is but not anymore as I see a glimpse of Hunter's figure, hopping out from his car.
Shane starts to push and pull m, "Can't believe your prince will come and pick you up. As we said, you're Cinderella but you're luckier than her because you kiss him when you trying to run away." She yelled beside me making me annoyed but blush after seeing Hunter standing across me and probably hear what she said.
"Why not answering my calls?"
"No one call—" Shane stops mid of her sentence and looks at me in shock. "Wait— you call her?" Hunter nod. "Then you must be that someone who called her in the middle of our meeting with Mr. President," she said, pointing at him.
"President came?"
"Not in government but the owner of the school." Hunter nod.
"Why are you answering? Lia can't talk?" He look at me and I wish the ground would eat me already.
"How many times do I have to tell you, I. Am. Not. Lia." I stressed while gritting my teeth.
He scoffs, "Yeah sure." He said sarcastically.
"I am telling you the truth." I defend as he sounds far from being convinced.
"I didn't say anything you're not Lia anymore, right?" I rolled my eyes at him.
"Why need to stick to your plan when he already recognizes you?" Shane whisper.
"Plan, hmm..." Hunter reiterated, whispering before opening the backseat door and tell us to went inside.
