I went outside the house and went to Shane's to borrow her printer. "Can't believe you made them comfortable around you," I chuckled. I bend down to get the clear coupon and put it inside the printer while she's standing beside me, crossing her arms to her chest. "Those stubborn, irritating cold big kids can change huh?"
"They didn't change, it was who they are. They can't show their true selves because of what's happening between their family. They seemed super close with Hunter too." She giggles, I smile.
"I also can't believe it, maybe because I have the personality to heal and make them comfortable with me?" She nods her head then sighed.
"December is coming. Where do you want to go? I don't want to go to Australia as they can see me there." I sigh then look at her.
"What the— Why can't you just see them and tell them you don't want to marry and don't want to take over their company?" She scoffs, scratching the back of her neck.
"If you ever meet them, they would never let me say no." She shook her head, showing her disappointment. "They are very strict to let me say no." She rolled her eyes. As I said, Shane is from notorious business tycoon and owned many business branches around the world. In short, they are wealthy.
The only thing I knew is her parents were strict and because their companies raise their sales, they will have a partnership with other companies. Her father and mother sign an agreement to let Shane marry the son of the other company. I would object when I am in her place but I am just a middle-class family. I also know my family, they won't let me marry the man they choose. They want me to marry the man I love.
I look at Shane with pity eyes. "Don't you dare look at me like that," she said.
I let a sigh and went beside her and pat her back. "It's suffocating." She nods in agreement.
"Hep hep hep! Don't be emotional, let's go outside? Like shopping, going to the arcade, watch a movie or go to an amusement park?" I tried to cheer her up which I think is working right now.
"Amusement park?" She laughs. "Are you still a kid?" I fake a smile, how can she said that?! Amusement parks are not for all kids! "But let's go!" She takes my hand and we went to her room and let her pick some clothes for me even though I tell her I can pick my own at my house but she refuses.
Picking a clothe is her hobby if she's not a teacher maybe she's now a famous fashion designer. She can also sew a dress and make a perfect match of clothing.
I and Shane keep on laughing as we went off the roller coaster, more like a monster roller coaster. We both held hands as we hold on to the railings, making our way to the exit of the ride.
"Can we ride again? I think I left my soul to my sit," Shane said.
"You insane! I don't want now, it's making me want to throw," she laughs. We both stop for a minute to recover from that tragic ride. "Let's play that first then let's go to the bumping cars!" I said, dragging her already.
"I'll play." I let her. In one throw, the balloon popped in the second attempt she throw it on the other side of the balloon. On the last try, when she threw the thing in her hand, luckily, she popped two balloons which made me glad! "Choose one here." She points at the bears hanging on the side.
"Bunny!" I yelled and pick it. Shane chuckled, she thanked the man assign to that game as I do too.
I and Shane had fun riding the rides in the park. I felt me and she gets more closer after this. I don't know, we get in touch after graduation but did not see each other for like a year than now, when I move here again, we don't have the time to have a time to hung out like this together.
I smile, looking at her driving the car back home as it was 4 now and we still have to get ready for the class tomorrow. I let out a sigh, tomorrow is Friday. The day is passing by without bothering me about this and that.
And speaking of bothering, Hunter came to my mind. I didn't see him nor we didn't get bump into each other. He also not calling me and don't open his window which making me worry. If it's also bothering you, yes, I save his number to my contacts because... Why not? Even if I don't want to talk to him or bother him, if there's a problem and Melanie was not there, I am willing to help.
Well, as fr-enemies...
We arrived at our driveway. I was about to went outside the car when Shane spoke, "Lexi..." She sounds hesitant and nervous. Why? I look at her in confusion.
"What happened?"
"Something happened."
"Of course there is... So what happened?" I said, being impatient.
"Please don't hate me or throw me away, okay?" My brows furrowed more. Is she pregnant? By who? Ayden or... James?! Hell!
"It depends-"
"ItoldHunteryoulovehim..." She said in hurry making me look puzzled.
"What?" She fake cried and look hesitant to repeat what she just said. "Come on, don't be hesitant and tell me carefully, I won't hate you." She closes her eyes tightly. I have a feeling she's pregnant.
"I tell Hunter you love him." She enunciated clearly but a little faster. I nod my head— then realization hit me, I look at her immediately with my eyes widen.
"WHAT?!" She continues to fake cry, clasping her both palms. "You said my name?! You confess my feelings to him without me beside you?!" UGHH!
