I shout a curse to let my anger and frustrate feeling I was getting after seeing them. My heart was aching, enough for me to break down. Do I deserve this? Maybe I failed to save the world in my past life so I am getting this?
I never thought my dream would become true. Well, I thought it would come true since they both seemed to love each other and Hunter loves her, his eyes can tell it. But after what happened that night, all the things about them vanished to my mind and have a hope I and him have a chance but na ah!

Shane asks if we can go shopping and I agree with her since I also need some company from the person I know. "Let's go!!" She grabs my hand before dragging me inside the mall and finds a shop where they sell the things Shane was looking for.
While she's looking somewhere, my attention caught 5 or 7 guys walking around the mall in a group, they were wearing a black suit, matching black pants, and have earpieces in their ears, and wearing black spectacles. Why it has so many bodyguards in here? Does celebrities or artists are here? Maybe they're shopping?
I was about to call Shane and ask if there's a creative person in here or a politician when they were about to look in our direction but Shane was fast, dragging me inside the one of shoe shop and run to the shoe rack to hide. "Uhm? What are we doing?" I ask, looking at the guys. They look at our place a while ago.
Shane cursed as the bodyguard seems like knew something was suspicious. One of the bodyguards tell the others that they saw two people were running inside the shop. But the other seemed to refuse. They all agreed and went away, and that's when Shane loosen her grip on me. She stands up as I did too.
"What was that? Don't tell me you did something—" She cover my mouth with her mouth.
"Shh! I didn't do anything. It was— It was just, I am afraid of bodyguards. Yeah, I am afraid of them." I look at her, she's acting suspiciously huh. I sigh then nod. We continued shopping,
Morning came, I felt my eyes were puffy from the tears I shed last night and my whole face was puffy making me want to sleep again and the scene from last night making me feel tired and have no interest in moving in my position. They are engaged now...
"You guys will leave now?" Noah and Ayden nod and waved their hands, Garry was in Noah's hand playing with his toy. "Garry, don't you like to hug me?" I ask while spreading my hands. Garry smiles and went to my arms. I gave him back to Noah, I let a small smile then waved back, watching them walk their way to Ayden's car. Before Noah could go inside the car beside Garry, he look back at me.
"Be careful huh? We ask someone to look after you," Noah said. He winks at me before getting inside the car without waiting for me to respond and drives off. My gaze turn to Shane who is running to me, James' car was in our driveway. I look at her confused.
"I'm going to meet James' parents," She giggles. "Gosh... I can't believe this is happening to me."
"Hmm, when you came back, don't forget to tell me what happened, hmm? And also I have to tell you something very very important." I said, with a slightly sad face.
"Yes, ow wait, maybe this Monday? I and James will stay there for the whole weekend." I sigh then giggles along with her.
"You sure? You must be feeling proud right now."
"Of course, our relation will be official now." I pat her shoulder. "You should look for someone already." I sigh then nod, not wanting to talk anymore.
"See me when you came back hmm?" She nod then turn around and wave her hand before going to James car.
I let a heavy sigh, watching his car drove away. Shane is ready to enter a relationship with James, which means, I would be left alone. Her attention will be only to him now. At least, I have my brothers, huh? And speaking of brothers, what does Noah means when he said he calls someone to look after me, who could it be?
I can live on my own, they leave me alone since I moved here back then. Well, granny stays with me since she had a house here somewhere in Manhattan, I don't know what's the name of its street. Grandpa used to drive me to my school and also fetch me, I am not interested in looking outside the window so I don't memories many of the towns or places we used to go back then. Unfortunately, Grandpa died after attending my graduation making it more like a sad graduation day to me.
I was about to turn around and before I could fully face the door, something caught my attention, it was Melanie and Hunter, walking towards his house; holding hands, laughing and giggling to each other. By just looking at them, you can tell they are a happy, healthy couple.
Wish I was the one standing beside him instead of her.
I felt my eyes becoming teary, I turn away from them and run inside before they could see me. How unfair this world can be. Why does it have to be today? Why do they have to show their face in front of me today when Noah, Ayden, and Shane leave me? WHY?!
I run to my room to the bathroom and cry myself there.
After having a warm shower and crying, the doorbell rang downstairs making me alert. I went downstairs, combing my hair. "What are you doing here?" I ask, face becoming cold, seeing Hunter in front of me.
