"You want to go somewhere?" Hunter ask. He stays here for like 2 hours now and it is very annoying, I could feel his stares at me when I am typing something on my laptop, Ayden gives me it as a birthday present last 2 years.
"No," I answer with a hint of annoyance.
"Why though? You don't smile since your brother didn't call you back."
"Why do you have to remind me? It's not your business," I said, without looking at him. I called Scarlet's parents, and they answered immediately. I ask them through message if they want to discuss something important thing through video call since this jerk won't leave my house.
"It's annoying seeing you not smiling through this time," I scoff.
"And it's annoying you're in here, staring at me the whole time!" I fired back.
"Aren't you happy?"
"Why would I?" His eyes widen, dramatically.
"Hi, Ms. Morley," someone said from the laptop. I look down and see a middle-aged couple, I smile at them.
"Hi, Mr. and Mrs. Gunn," I greeted back with a sweet smile. I discuss the project since Mrs. Gunn is the president and also I will talk to the secretary later. She agreed to me about the project and we both came up with the cost of that project and I will tell the auditor and secretary and all the parents if they want the idea of having that as a project.
"Can't believe you can be this good talking, politely to someone." I rolled my eyes.
"I'm always like this, but to you, I don't think you deserve that." I stand up and went to the kitchen to take the orange juice and put it on the center table. I know my throat will hurt because of talking.
After being said, my throat hurts after having meetings will all the parents of my students. They have a lot of questions which I answer politely. They also keep on repeating the question that had already been answered; they seemed not paying attention to the meeting which makes me annoyed in the middle of the discussion
"I'm Brian and Adrian's guardian, you won't ask me and discuss the thing about the project..?" I clear my throat, looking at my side, sarcastically. I look at him with an are-you-kidding-me look but he has that serious look which I think is fake.
"You attention seeker, you may be overheard our conversation since you're in here."
"How dare you call me attention seeker?"
"Why? It's true though, MONKEY!" His brows lifted and his eyes slightly widen and stops as if I did something that made him shocked. Then a realization hit me, making me mentally facepalm myself and look away from him immediately.
"You remember me, Donkey," he chuckled.
"W-what are you s-saying? What remember you? Did we meet back then?" I stutter made him laugh and stand.
"Why need to hide when I saw you without your wrinkle that night, huh?" He leans over to see me closely. I back away. "You can't lie to me, you call me Monkey, and when you first saw me you seemed shocked and why did you run away when James called you?" He whispers to my face. "And also, what's the plan you and Shane talking when I came to drive you both home?"
I was stunned in my place, and can't utter a single word. When I open my mouth to say something, nothing came out so I close it and open again and close again. He smirks at me. "See? You're Lia. You said you're not a fool like me but, you make a fake name so lame. Blake? What it has to do with Lira and Lexi huh?"
"I can't believe you, you act still the same." He stands straight which made me sigh in relief. "Even though I know you already and you also remember me, I'm still confused about you. It makes me want to know you more. I felt like you're hiding big from me."
"You're not important to my life so why would I tell you my secret? Then that's good, keep on dreaming that you would find my deepest secret, you will suffer." Not deepest, just in the middle.
"Interesting." He crosses his hand to his chest, looking down at me with his known smirk. "Don't say something like you're so confident that I really can't do that. Think before you say," he added before storming out the room.
Well, I am confident he can't make me tell him everything about me because I believe, the person I will tell all my problems will surely stay beside me and stays in my life and my story. I think I found my soulmate already, Shane. I wouldn't ask more, just her attention and presence beside me and be my crying shoulder, my pillow, my big ears.
Another hour passed, Hunter didn't leave my house. He came back after storming out of the living room. I did not ask him why he had to stay here knowing he just got engaged yesterday, for sure they have to spend time together so no one will break the engagement.
Am I being creepy again? I look at Hunter who's facing his laptop, we both sitting across from each other.
