I woke up with a severe headache. I barely sit on the bed, caressing my forehead. The door creaked open, revealing Hunter with a glass of water. His eyes were already attached to mine. His eyes lit up, but there's a hint of sadness in his eyes for a second. "You're awake," He went towards me with the glass still in his hand.
I look away from him as I remember what happened last night. I am feeling half of guilty and have the feeling of relief that I shout it to him though I still not confessing my true feelings to him. It's still in me, I should say it to him now and let him go; set him free.
I know it hurts for me since he's my first love, he's the first guy and he's my first kiss. It hurts to let go of something for me since I treasure all the things, have or have no value to me. "Drink this so headache would vanish and you should eat medicine, heavy rain poured on you so catch a cold."
He gave me the medicine and also the glass of water. I sigh and give back the glass to him. I let a heavy sigh again, fighting myself if I should tell him now. Is it the right or wrong time to tell him? Is it the right time to tell him now?
"Hunter," I called with a cracked voice. I see the edge of my eyes, he looked at me. "Can you do me a favor?"
"What is it?" My eyes began to get hot and this is what I hate every time I want to say something, reveal something. I easily cry over things that aren't that important though.
Before I could talk, someone entered the room, Melanie. She went straight to Hunter as soon as she sees him standing beside the bed. I wasn't surprised anymore when she crashed her lips to him, she's slut after all. And they are fiancée now. It is okay now because they both will have power over each other because they are engaged.
I wasn't in the right place to pull him and stop their kissing session. I'm just nothing to his life and vice versa. I stand up and that's when I realize I am not in my room but Hunter. Maybe that's why I didn't get angry when they went inside the room.
"What is she doing here?" Melanie ask. She breaks the kiss as she notices me standing up. They are still in their position as they both look at me. Her both hand were wrapping on her neck while his both hands were hanging down, not wanting to touch her.
Having my sleep peacefully but someone interrupts," I fired, not too sarcastically. She scoffs,
"I'm not in the right mood to fight you. For your information, I'm not trying to steal your man. Nothing came like that across my mind." I gave a last glare to her and look at Hunter before I storm out of the room.
As I went outside, a middle-aged man is sitting on the couch, reading a newspaper, and Adrian and Brian playing at the center table. Something is odd since they both had puffy eyes and pouty lips while they were playing quietly.
"Hunter we'll coming with some business meeting in 30 minutes—" He stops as soon as he turns around. "You b*tch what are you doing here? Didn't I warn you not to get close with my son?!" He stands up, throwing the newspaper at me. I flinch as I did not expect that. The newspaper hurt my cheeks before it landed on the floor.
"I-I'm sorry, Mr. It's my first time—" He didn't give me time to finish my sentence as he was about to pull my hair if it wasn't Brian and Adrian push the middle-aged man.
"This two brats—" He aims at Adrian and was about to smack him but I was fast to pull him back.
"Mr., it is not right to hurt children," I said in calm. He was also going to smack me as both of them cried out loud, hugging me by the side of my legs. Before I knew it, he picked a newspaper that landed on my cheeks a while ago and slap it in my cheeks where it touched a while ago.
I hissed at the sudden pain. The pain from the first one still not vanishing and now, it increases making me want to crouch down and hold it. Tears filled my eyes, I felt a little irritated because I still feel a pain in my head. I keep on hissing and my head throwing to my side as he slaps me.
"Teacher!" They both cried.
"Shh, you both will be alright." I caressed their head to calm them but it won't work if they are still in front of this middle-aged man. I don't know who he is but I think he is very aggressive to them. He throws the newspaper at me and I let a loud groan, I feel something was coming out from my lower lips and my cheeks are hot and stinging.
"You still have the guts to go to my son after cheating many times huh? I can't believe you can still walk after those nights you use many men." He lifted his hand and pull my hair which made my ponytail loosen a little. "I won't hesitate that you are nothing compared to any woman a slut."
I didn't give any thought to his word but it is hitting me because I am not like that! "I'm sorry Mr., I think saying something without knowing the person's background is a fault."
"Trying to be nice? Why? Hunter isn't here, why would you act nice?" Before I knew it, he lift his hand and was ready to slap me, I close my eyes tightly making my tears fall to my cheeks. I waited for the hard slap from him to touch my cheeks. But nothing happened.
Out of curiosity, I slowly open my eyes. Hunter is standing in front of us, holding the middle-aged man's wrist, stopping him from slapping me. The middle-aged man's eyes look shocked but it didn't last long as anger filled them.
