"Since I saw Melanie on the rooftop dressed differently like you, I knew something is wrong. It doesn't feel like you when she's around, she doesn't make my heart flutter when you just came past by me. She didn't even pinch my ear nor bicker with me but she flirts with me even more." There's a hint of annoyance in his voice. "I knew, all the campus students and the professor knew she wants me so I gave her a chance to be with me, and before graduating, I would ask you to be my girlfriend.."
My eyes get teary, the feeling when he left the venue without even saying goodbye nor congratulates me makes me push him away from me. "You're playing with my feelings, Hunter. You're playing with me. I— Why did you leave me then? Why didn't you approach me and ask me? Why?! I waited for you, but you didn't come," I sobs. "I love you, and it breaks my heart whenever I saw you with Melanie. You were being lovely to her instead of me! She's standing beside you instead of me! All I wanted was to be by your side but you broke me, Hunter. You never fail to broke my heart in just a little move of yours."
"I am broken too, Lia!" He shouts making me stop sobbing and look into his eyes. "I want to approach that day, before the graduation ceremony. I am super excited to ask you, I even pray that day will come when I woke up the next morning because I am super excited. I can't go because my dad called me and tell me we have to go overseas so I can study more about business."
"I want to congratulate you. I want to ask you, I want to say goodbye, but I can't... We have to leave because my parents, they divorced." My gaze softens, why did I forget all of that? Why did I follow my feelings without thinking?
"I-I'm sorry," I whisper, looking down.
"Everything happened so so fast," He hold my cheeks and wipe my tears. "Years may come passed by, but my feelings for you won't change, Lia." He holds my chin and makes me look at him. "Please say that you love me," his tone was pleading but in his eyes, a burning desire and lust were growing. My eyes fell on his lips as soon as I felt him leaning. Will I surrender to him? Will I confess my feelings already?
His thumb on my cheeks moves, caressing them. It is giving me a ticklish feeling inside me and in just that move, I can't think anything anymore. "I-I love you," it came out as if I am desperate at him. It comes out a little deep and I can't help but bite my lower lip by just the sight of his pink lips.
His lips meet mine. This time, the gentle was no more, it is aggressive, but he did it with care. He makes sure I will get safe and comfortable with it. I slowly gave in and seconds later, my mouth move with the same passion as him. He held my hand and put them in his neck, I grip on his hair as he held me and put me on the island in the kitchen.
I slightly let a soft and small whimper in between the heated kiss as he stands in between my legs. My back arched, feeling his hands roaming at my curves and my back. He pulled away as we panted for air. "I love you more, Lia," his voice was hoarse while looking at me like he was ready to eat me while panting. "You are making me crazy."
Before I could utter a single word, he pulled my hair on one side and made me tilt my head, giving him more access to my neck.
I bit my lower lips to not let a sound that is urging to go from my lips as I feel his hot breath in it. He went up to my ear and found something in it giving me the best feeling ever but too nervous to make it for the first time. I continue to gulp as his hand pulled my t-shirt up and hold my skin under my shirt making me flinch.
He noticed me continuing to gulp and stop from kissing my neck and pulled away, he also let go of my body but stay standing in the middle of my legs. "Ahh- I'm sorry—" I pulled him into a long kiss before pulling away. "You're mine, only mine,"
My mind can't process the whole thing that just happened this morning. Did we just kiss? No, it's not a kiss but a make-out. We make out! I left the house with Adrian and Brian and their babysitter to park like I promise to them and also eat at Shane's favorite restaurant, it was not famous and the location was in a close area.
They told me, they don't get to eat outside because of their strict father. They also tell me how Hunter suffers because of their bad doings. I sigh and feel his emotions those days. I can't believe behind his grumpy, cold expression there's a pain in them.
I didn't notice it. I thought he is living in cloud nine every day, going to clubs, having fun with girls, can buy everything they want, doesn't have financial problems but I judge him wrong. All those years, all he wants is love because his parents are fighting but all I give was hurtful words to him.
I felt bad for saying those words though I didn't mean those.
"Then should we call Hunter too so we can eat together?" I ask them with a sweet smile. They happily nodded and I took my phone out of my slim bag. It's not a problem though, we have intimidated moments just an hour ago but it doesn't feel awkward. Well, I guess.
I also feel sorry for him 'cause I hurt his feelings ever since we met not knowing he's going through a lot inside their house so I decided to call him. I smile ear-to-ear after hearing him going here but I can't lie, I also feel very very nervous.
What if he tells something about what happened between us a while ago to these kids? And to their babysitter? Gosh! It would be very embarrassing.
Soon, our food got delivered to our table and at the right time, Hunter came from the entrance and went to us. As I expected, the staff of the restaurant starts to fangirl over Hunter and giggling at each other.
My eyes got captivated at the figure he had with his sly smile. Which is making him more handsome. "Monkey!" I return to my reverie and look at Brian who just shouted. Soon after realizing what he called his cousin, I burst out laughing.
"Monkey?" I enunciated in between my laugh. I even hold my stomach now because of so much laughter. I heard him calling his brother that too when we met again in his house that time.
