Our game continues with two breaks and now, Hunter wins. It's been years since I practice and played basketball so it wasn't surprising anymore. I took my water and drinks it, hunter went beside me and lift his shirt. "That was a heated game. Never thought you will be that competitive," he said, panting.
"You know me,"
"I should've let you win but not this time. I let you win back then but not now since the loser has to obey the winner." He laughs, evily. I pout and glares at her.
"Put a shirt on, this is not a great place for you to take off your shirt," I remind. This isn't the first time I saw someone shirtless. I saw Noah and Ayden shirtless when I'm living in our home or when I am living in Noah's house so I didn't even flinch.
"It's hot in here."
"Yeah, I agree with you but did you saw me lift my shirt, not right?" He suddenly came close to me. I back away.
"Why? Are you afraid someone will saw things that were yours?"
"Yes, my body is precious. You should treat your body as your treasure too." He scoffs and nods.
We both went back home and I took a warm shower. Hunter went to his house to let the two kids know he is home. After a moment, the door opens, revealing Shane walking inside the room.
"Yah! Where were you? I've been calling you many times, why aren't you answering?" My mouth is wide open as I reach my phone from the center table in the living room. I saw her text and missed calls, Ayden also calls me.
"I'm sorry, me and Hunter went to play basketball and we just get back." I sighed, tiredly. She didn't reply so I look at her, that was her look again. Her eyes widen while her lips are parted as she just stares at me.
"You both play?" I nodded, weirdly at her. What's wrong with her? She suddenly shriek and went closer to me like she just found her true love. "Tell me," she urges. She holds my hand and barely squeezes them. "What happened while you were playing?"
"We both sweat, and he wins. We drive back home so we can start our bet."
"What bet?" She asks with her high-pitched voice.
"If one of us wins, and one of us loses, the lose should follow what the winners demand." She shrieks again and wiggles my arms. I continue to look at her with my weird look. What's happened to her?
Before she could talk furthermore, someone open the main door and we both look at it. "What date is today?" I ask when I saw James walking near us with Hunter beside him.
"Monday,"
"Monday?!" I burst while looking at her in shock.
"Yeah, why are you shouting?"
"It's freaking Monday, Shane. What about our work?!" Shane sighed in relief and chuckle.
"I attended it this morning. Don't worry, I excuse you to the principal." She pats my back while I fake my cry.
"I forget about it!"
Me, Shane, Hunter, and James decided to hang out with each other. Shane chooses a movie while I look at my grocery if there's popcorn and also orange juice. I am busy stirring the juice while Hunter is busy preparing the popcorn.
"Lexi, give me some strawberry ice cream and your cookies!" Shane asks from the living room.
"No way! I stuck it for myself, if I put it out, you might eat it all." I rolled my eyes.
"Please! Hunter is here, your boyfriend is a millionaire, he can buy you the whole factory!" She shouts again.
"You should've told that to James, not me," I shout back.
"He told me he will treat me to amusement park next week but did not mention he will buy a factory of ice cream and cookies for me."
"This woman's," Hunter sighed. He pressed his hand to his forehead while I look back at him and chuckled. He went to me and back hug me. "Just give her what she wants, she's talking too loud. I will buy the factory for you." I giggles.
"Yeah, it was just a joke, why taking it too seriously?" I ask, still giggling at him. I hold his hand that was wrapped in my stomach. "Shane must be gone mad again." I peck his cheeks. " Check the popcorn, it must be burning now." He pout before leaving my waist and went to the stove. I take 2 packs of cookies in the cabinet and went to the living room, putting all of the food on the center table.
I sat down beside Shane. "Is it a horror movie or drama?" Shane nudge me.
"Of course it is a horror," she answered. Hunter came to the living room and hand the bowl of popcorn to James beside Shane and Hunter sat next to me. The doorbell rang and Hunter put the bowl full of popcorn to the center table.
"I'll go check who it is." With that, he left and went to the front door. Shane was busy scrolling down to her phone while I watch Hunter opening the door. Just then I noticed the hair and his forehead. I stand up and went to them while jumping.
"Ayden!" I shout his name. He smiles as Hunter moves beside him. He spreads his arms like waiting for me to hug him but all I gave him was pinching his stomach that made him hiss.
"Where were you? I miss you."
"You miss me huh? Yeah, I can see it, you miss me," he said, sarcastically. He went inside while rubbing his stomach.
"That's what you get because you plan it. However it was a success," Shane said, giggling.
"I just did it for her happiness, instead of hugging me, whispering me the word 'thank you, she pinches my abs! Ouch!" He crouched down, dramatically.
"Want me to smack your butt, huh?" I ask as he runs towards the sofa and sat down next to Shane.
"James, men." Ayden and James had a fist bump and I noticed there was the slightest pain in his eyes. What is happening?
