"I will be going now, me and Sebastian had a deal today." He looks at Hunter before leaving. I look at Shane and Ayden talking while smiling at each other. I smile.
I went next to Ayden and use my side to push him towards Shane. Shane didn't even flinch and just move towards the end of the couch. "What are we talking about and why Shane is smiling ear to ear?"
"Maybe because I see my long-time crush?" Shane said and cling onto Ayden's arms. I look at her in shock while Ayden just stared at Shane, mesmerized by her.
"I thought you and James were in a relationship? Are you going to cheat on him with my brother?" She giggles while sticking her tongue to me. I feel my side couch has fallen and then there's Hunter sat down beside me and my whole attention went to him.
"Just play the movie, Shane," I said while picking popcorn while Hunter holding the bowl. "Oh my god! why horror, Shane?! You should pick rom-com!"
"Our boyfriends were here so," she smirks. "It can help us to flirt with them. You should cling on Hunter, don't cling on Ayden if you got scared." Shane holds Ayden's bicep and moves him away from me a little.
"Yah! He is my brother!" She sticks her tongue.
"At least I have Hunter." I also do what Shane doing to Ayden and stick my tongue to her. I felt Hunter's hand was going to my knees, pressing me to him. The movie starts with a loud monster shout. Every time there's a monster popping in the movie, I will jump or grip on Hunter's arms tightly. I even put my both legs to his hips as we both watch the movie. I even keep my head leaning to his shoulder so when there's a monster, I can snuggle my face to his back.
When the movie was done, I look up and see he was having a sly smile. I look at Ayden and Shane and they were sleeping while her head was on his shoulder and his head was on her head. "They were cute," I squeak. I took my phone and picture them. "Now I have to frame this and display it in my room. You can't sail huh?" I smirk at myself.
After another hour, Shane and Ayden left. I send Shane the picture I get when they both were sleeping. I start to tease her just like what they do when they knew I like Hunter back then. She would tease me back but she was defeated by me. Hunter stays at my house, he helps me do some other house chores and even played with Adrian and Brian. They both were happy to see me and I am also happy to see them again.
The two kids were knocked down on the couch. I smile as I bend down to lift Adrian. He's heavy but still can lift them. "Hey, what are you doing?" Hunter asks, he came out of the kitchen after washing the dishes.
"I am going to put them to the bed. Why?"
"I will lift them later, don't do that." He went to me and get Adrian from my arms and went upstairs. I sighed. Hunter also lift Brian to the guest room and let them sleep peacefully.
I and Hunter were in the living room, scrolling on our phones. I look at him when I have heard him sighting many times now. "What's bothering you?" I ask him.
"What?"
"What's wrong? You've been sighing for many times now." He shrugs his shoulder. "C'mon tell me, I won't stop bothering you unless you tell me.."
"You want to meet your dad, right?" He stops in the middle of his statement and takes a deep breath as he continues not looking at me. "Means when you decided to meet him, it will be our last day together."
"What do you mean?" I chuckled but getting nervous.
"It's not like he would take me away from here— from you.."
"He will.." This time, I felt my heart falls. I stare at his eyes to tell if he's joking or not but all I could see is seriousness. "You studied education and not a business. He's a successful CEO in the world and we're just the second. For sure, you're only his child, so I am very sure you'll inherit his position. You'll probably study business overseas too."
The look on my face changed. Is he serious? What if dad married another woman all these years and have a child with them? Then I won't be the inheritor? I like being an educator, I like my job now.
"You know what I want, Hunter. I want to be a teacher but it is okay for me to study business because I am running errands in my hometown with my mother but... Study overseas, I won't take it. But I think it is worth going there for study." His expression can't describe now.
He briefly stop in his movement, hands were snaking mine. "Y-you don't love me? I thought you do."
"I do. How did that topic come in?"
"Why do you want to study business overseas when you can study here?"
"If dad wants it then why not?"
"You're making decisions without hearing my opinion."
"Your opinion? Didn't you just say your opinion just now?"
"No, I didn't."
"Then tell me," My voice rising a little. He did not respond. "How did the topic I love you came when we're talking about business and dad? Are you underestimating my love to you?" My brows furrowed. So he's not trusting me?
"I... don't want you to leave me,"
"Who said I will?"
"Your dad will take you away from here!"
"Then that's good! You can be with Melanie," I blurted. I never thought that thought will come across my mind and blurted it. It's just that he is making me angry and I can't stop myself from blurting things when angry. He scoffs and stands up, angrily.
