Moody Moody

Chapter 1

Tonight, everyone in this place celebrated the party like it was full of happiness. They continued to sing and also drank alcohol. Kevin just sat quietly and did not respond to the chatter of several people who had gathered together with him. From his point of view, it seemed that he was actually very upset about the incident this morning. When he was in his apartment, suddenly he heard someone's voice asking for help and when he checked it, at that time Kevin even got into trouble with that person. Apparently that person had deliberately run away and randomly asked for help from someone in the apartment which just so happened to be Kevin's apartment. At this time, one of the people then started to feel surprised by his attitude and at that time that person even made a few jokes which immediately made Kevin glance at them. He seemed to feel increasingly fed up with it all and immediately stood up. Seeing Kevin who was about to leave, they were surprised and soon let it go. Kevin walked slowly while looking at several other guests who were invited to this event just like himself. The lively atmosphere made Kevin's mood even worse and he started to leave the event. Inside his head, he seemed to be thinking about something. Kevin has returned from the event and now he intends to restore his mood by visiting a bar. This time Kevin really felt much better compared to the previous situation. He, who felt abysmally, made the bartender, who was none other than his friend, feel even more convinced that there was something wrong with Kevin. That person then poured more alcohol and immediately started talking about something as if curious about what happened to Kevin. This person keeps asking lots of questions even though they are still being ignored and this person doesn't feel offended at all . Kevin then sighed.
"To be honest there's really nothing to worry about," Kevin said casually.
"Wow, that's how it looks. But I see you seem to be in a mess. Don't tell me you failed again?”
"No. It's not about the damn match this time."
"Is it true? Then about what ?
“Recently, for some reason, there have been a lot of strange people interfering with my life. I don't think it's a coincidence. But I also can't just make it a kind of belief."
"Ah, just because that's what it seems. I thought you were pissed off because you failed again but you weren't. Luckily. By the way, did you feel something was off?"
"Hah? Why do you ask like that?”
"It is nothing. It's just an ordinary question, you don't need to feel burdened like that."
“Tch, who is burdened? There isn't any."
“Oh yeah, recently I heard that there are some people who are involved in a loud scandal. You know that?"
"It looks like those people. Already know. They are annoying and deserve their punishment.”
“You are ruthless as usual. But I think I agree with what you said. it's true these days people have gone mad. they even come here a lot and sometimes make a mess. You know what I feel?"
"Must be very upset."
"You are right. I barely beat them to the ground. Good grief. Damn it."
"Are you getting frustrated already?"
"Correct. This alone is driving me close to madness. Ah, never mind it was too annoying for me this time.”
Kevin then fell silent and seemed to be thinking about something. There were a number of things that had been troubling her and they only continued to grow. All this time, there was something that kept getting in the way until Kevin kept feeling curious about it and apparently he didn't find what was causing it at all and only emptiness was found. When the bartender continued to chat with Kevin, from the direction of the table near the back corner, someone was seen sitting and seemed to be deliberately eavesdropping on their conversation. This person immediately smirked and then got up from his seat and left the bar.
"I don't think it's a serious problem," said Kevin when he heard the bartender's story.
"You are right. It's not a serious problem but I feel that all of that really pisses me off and I often get angry because of that."
"Are you angry?"
"Correct. you don't believe me?”
"Not really."
“Fortunately my consciousness is still there so I can still think clearly. Great isn't it?
“Nothing great. Oh yeah, I checked some of the files they sent me and they're all the same . Nothing is interesting."
"Ah, I'm sorry I don't think it's part of my fault. So you should just ask them.”
"I thought you would say something like this."
"After all, I'm no longer one of them. That's why there's no point in you questioning me. It's just informational."
"I see. I do have a lot to ask though.”
"You're still curious huh? Be careful , your curiosity can kill you. You could be in danger mate."
"I already know about that myself and I don't care."
“How dare you not care about your own life? Stop overdoing it if you die everyone will be sad.”
"Who's going to die anyway?"
“Ah, this is only an approximation. You don't need to feel so annoyed. Good grief. Your temperament is really bad.”
Even though the bartender had said so much, Kevin still kept questioning his mind. After that, he took another sip of his drink and not long after was back talking again. The two of them seemed to be discussing a lot of very serious things. It doesn't feel like three hours have passed, Kevin is still in this place and now he feels that maybe what this person said is true and not all of it is just empty words. At that moment Kevin smirked as if he was already satisfied with some of the information he had just obtained and he felt like he might be right.
"Looks like you've had fun," said the bartender.
"I think I just found something that is interesting."
" What did you find ?"
"There are some things that sometimes make me feel good and it might have something to do with something I'm looking for."
"Hah? This is you. Honestly it's too risky. Are you who takes all the risk?”
"That's not a big problem for me. No need to worry. Everything will definitely be fine. Just like what they've been doing lately," Kevin said, smirking again.
"You're already immune to threats huh? I guess that I can understand too. Hope you find what you want."
There are lots of mysteries that are still lodged in Kevin's head. Unlike before, not long after that Kevin saw that there were several realities which were indeed not the same as what had been in his mind. There were already some other things that he would never have expected and this time he really felt disappointed with those reasons. Not only that, Kevin also felt that there really was something wrong with all of that and instead it only indicated other things. One or even two things actually burdened Kevin even more for some time. Not long after that, Kevin regained his senses and this time he still felt that it seemed that his guesses were always wrong. When there was news and even everyone was worried about it, he was the only one who looked normal and until now there was still no progress. All of that seems to deliberately cover everything up and indeed there is only one reason why everything is always the same . Kevin then held his head as if he was already feeling dizzy with some of the thoughts that were in his head and he was barely able to avoid it anymore. This time he really stuck in it maybe it will only last for a while or maybe even forever.
"You still think about things?" asked the barman.
"I feel like there's something wrong with me and that's actually something that really sucks."
"You're still stuck in that thought. Honestly this world is really evil and you just need to get used to it. That way you won't feel so dizzy like this."
“Ah, you're also right. But I still feel the same way and I'm having a hard time getting rid of it. I feel that there is actually something wrong.”
"What's wrong?"
"There may be others."
"I'm still confused about what's in your head. You're pushing yourself too hard. You don't have to be like that.”
His words were not wrong and at this time Kevin immediately fell silent. After a while he got up from his seat and left. It had been a long time since he had experienced this world in peace and that was indeed the case for now. Kevin saw that there were people currently gathered and they seemed to be on to something. Kevin then felt curious and after that Kevin returned to his house. Very quiet home atmosphere. This apartment was like a foreign place and this time he was lying on the sofa while sighing slowly.
'Unlucky. Why is it always like this?' Kevin said to himself.
