Chapter 1: Meet My Masters
The moment Riley steps foot on Mrs. Lee's mansion, she suddenly felt little on herself. The house is so much bigger than she ever imagined. She bet that people who lived here have golden spoons in their mouths. She looked down at her clothes. She looks like a commoner inside this mansion and she will never ever fit in this place.   
The female butler assists her to the maid's quarter where she will stay. After that, the butler assists her on every part of the mansion so that she won't get lost if ever she's alone. 
"Is this even real?" she asked herself while staring at the huge chandelier.  
She heard an unfamiliar chuckle. "Yes. And you better believe it." 
When turn her gaze to the one who spoke, a very handsome man welcomed her with a goofy smile on his face. 
He offered her a hand shake. "Hi. My name's Jake and I'm handsome." 
Her mouth slightly opened when he lifted his own chair. But she can't blame him though. He's downright gorgeous like a prince. 
"Oh, H-Hi, Master J-Jake." She accepted his hand. "I'm Riley Gomez. The new maid here." 
His smile widened. "Well, then. Nice to meet you, Riley. I hope we can be good friends." 
Hmm, that's weird. She thought. My old masters are not this friendly. And he seems like he's not that hard to befriend. 
The female butler spoke. "He's one of our Masters here in the mansion. The other three are too busy at the moment so just start with your duty by watering the plants of Master Hoon in the greenhouse." 
She automatically nodded. "Copy that." 
Before she left, she bid goodbye first to her Master Jake so that she could start the purpose of coming here. 
RILEY SIGHED in exhaustion after watering the whole greenhouse. Who wouldn't be this tired when the greenhouse is so freaking huge?! 
She sat on the bench to relax herself but she forgot to turn off the hose sprinkler that she used. She gasped when she accidentally wet someone in an expensive suit in front of her.
Riley looked up and guiltiness coated her system.  
"I'm sorry!" She immediately begged for her sin. 
The man with no emotion written on his face, removed his coat and necktie and then he faced her. 
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" he asked coldly. 
She looked down on her shoes. "I'm the new maid here, M-Master." 
She looked up to see his reaction. But his emotion didn't change. 
"You don't look like one. Why don't you change your clothes to look like you're a maid in this mansion?" 
Her eyebrows furrowed. She expected that he's going to scold her or throw her out of the greenhouse but none of that happend. 
He's calm, gentle and… caring? And sometimes it is hard to read what comes to his mind.
An introvert I see.
But he's kinda straight to the point. 
"Y-Yes, Master--"
"It's Master Hoon. And nice to meet you, beautiful." he said and left with his wet coat. 
SHE WENT back to the maid's quarter to change into a maid's outfit like her Master Hoon's order. Time passed and she didn't even recognize that it's already past five o'clock.  
Her tummy is rumbling because she didn't eat lunch. But she's used to it. 
Her foot took her upstairs to wander the whole mansion. She already memorized the first floor and this time, the second floor. 
She heard a soft voice matching with a guitar so she followed the sound that is good to hear. It came from that door to the corner of this floor. 
She silently and carefully pushed the door with no sound and a man playing a guitar while singing faced her. 
Riley leaned her back to the door and listened to the man's angelic voice that turned her on. 
The man stopped from playing the guitar when he felt someone was staring at him. Then he saw Riley comfortably leaning on the door of the music room. 
"Hey, there." he spoke and put down his guitar. 
Riley was not in herself while she's walking towards the man who sings and plays guitar earlier.  
She sat beside him without taking her eyes off him. 
"I heard you're the new maid." he smiled. "You're too young to be one." he rolled his tongue over his lips. "I'm Ethan, by the way. Ethan Lee. And you're?" 
Riley gulped before answering. "I-I'm Riley." 
Ethan nodded. Remaining his smile on his lips. "Hmm, Riley… cute name." Then he stared at her. "Just like you." 
Riley felt her cheeks reddened because of that simple yet fluttered compliment. She has never been complimented before, especially if it's her Masters.  
"T-Thank you, Master E-Ethan." she can't help but stammer.  
"Welcome." he stood up. "Anyways, wanna go buy something to eat? Kinda feel hungry and I didn't eat lunch." 
Her mind says yes but she has a lot to do in this mansion. 
"Thank you for your offer, Master Ethan, but I had a lot of things to do right now." she bit her lower lip. "Is it okay if I decline?"
A soft smile appeared on Ethan's lips. "Sure, Riley. I'm sure there's a lot of next time, right?" It's okay, I understand." 
Riley thanked that he understands. She didn't mean to decline his offer but her job is more important than her happiness. Especially when her grandmother is ill so she needs a lot of money. 
Ethan escorted her downstairs to the laundry room so she could start washing her Masters' clothes. 
Riley stared at Ethans back while he walked away from her. 
What a fine gentleman he is.
RILEY IS peacefully humming while doing the laundry when someone slams a pair of tuxedos in front of her on purpose. 
Bubbles coated her eyes and it hurt her. 
"Excuse me?! What the--" she stops when another handsome man faces her while crossing his arms over his chest. 
"Wash my tuxedo as soon as possible. I need to wear that for tomorrow's big event." he said and left her. 
Unbelievable! 
She quickly stood up to reach him. "Hey!" 
The man automatically faced her. 
"Don't you have manners?" 
His one eyebrow furrowed. "Excuse me?"
"How could you just do that? That's so ill mannered of you. You're just going to ask me to wash your clothes and yet y-you-- argh! You're so rude, you angry bird!" 
He blinked his eyes numeral times. "A-Angry bird?" 
"Yes!" she confidently said. "Your eyes look intimidating." 
The man chuckled sarcastically and bit his lip to stop himself from smiling, causing her to back off and just stared at him. 
Seconds later, she saw him slowly walk towards her. Making her heart inside of her ribcage go wild. She didn't notice that she kept on walking backwards and she only stopped when her back bumped to the wall. 
The man caged her between his arms and pinned her to the wall. 
Riley gulped when she felt his breath hits on her forehead. 
"W-What are you doing?" 
"I'm not an angry bird." he said huskily. "My eyes are beautiful and tempting. Not intimidating." he leaned into her making her breath stop. "And call me Master Jay, you witch."
