Chapter 10: A Wicked Plan

Chapter 10: A Wicked Plan
Riley woke up in the middle of the night when she heard a loud sound coming from the living room. She stood up to check if there's a thief inside the mansion but it's too impossible because this mansion is protected by CCTVs and high technologies that are made of riffles or snipers that serve as guards.
She tiptoed and hid herself behind the stairs and waited for the stranger to come in. She can only see a man's silhouette.
"Shit, you're so heavy!"
Riley gasped when she heard Jay's voice. She quickly turns on the switch in the living room.
"W-What the…"
"Don't just stand there. Help me will you?" Jay orders while he's helping Jake -- who looks so wasted -- to stand up straight but fails.
She nodded and put Jake's right arm over her shoulder. He's indeed heavy.
"Why is he so d-drunk?" she couldn't help but to ask while depositing Jake into his bedroom.
Jay just shrugged and shamelessly took off his leather jacket and his muscle t-shirt. Now he's half naked and her eyes widened at what she saw.
"Oh my gosh!"
Jay seems he didn't care if Riley saw him half naked.
"What?" he innocently asked with one of his eyebrows furrowed. "It's hot so I took my shirt off."
He gave her a smirk before leaving her inside Jake's room.
Thank God she can now breathe normally. But her heart couldn't stop from beating so darn fast.
"D-Did I just saw him--" she wiggled her head. "No, no, this is wrong."
ETHAN CLOSED his eyes and his head on the sofa. He's so darn tired today because of his part time job that starts at 9pm and ends at 4am.
Everybody asks, including his mother, why is he doing a part time job when they were rich as gods. But Ethan always says that it's part of his life and he doesn't want to lock himself all day long inside his room like before.
Especially when he met this girl who looked like a goddess at the Masquerade Ball. Sad to say but, he didn't get to ask her name before she left that night after they danced together.
He opened his eyes when he heard Hoon coming from upstairs.
"I need your help." Hoon said.
"For what?"
He gritted his teeth. "We're in big trouble. Our Dad's are going to be here later at 8am. My Dad's secretary informed me that they'll get us from mom. They said it's written on the contract they signed years ago."
Ethan sighed. He started to get confused. "W-What? What contract?"
"I freaking don't know." Hoon let out a deep sigh. He's frustrating. "But whatever happens, I will not let my father take me away from mom. Hell, I don't want to be with him."
Ethan seems to understand what Hoon was trying to say. "Me too. Even if mom likes my Dad, I don't want to be with him either."
"I think they plan to hurt mom because of hiding us from them back then. By taking us, their sons from her." He gripped his fist. "Try them and they'll see what the real me is. They will mess with the wrong men if ever that's their plan."
Hoon was very angry and ready to attack anyone who hurt his mother. Ethan can see it in his eyes. This is new. He had never seen Hoon like this before.
Ethan walks towards him and consoles him. He tapped his shoulder to make him calm. "Don't worry. You're not alone, buddy. We're here for you. Although Jay and Jake were too drunk. I saw them earlier at the Bar Cave. Drowning themselves on alcohol."
Hoon chuckled lightly. "I bet Jake was too wasted. His alcohol tolerance is not that high."
Ethan shook his head. "Yeah. Anyway, what's the plan?"
Hoon sat on the sofa in front of him and they talked about what they're going to do first thing in the morning.
JAKE YAWNED and grunted at the same time when he felt his head spinning.
"Shit. Damn this hangover!"
He forced himself to stand up and went to the kitchen to drink some water to ease his headache when Riley entered the kitchen and gave him medicine.
"Oh, hi, Riley. G'morning."
She smiled at him, making his heart go crazy every time he smiled at her. "Here. It's an advil. For a headache. Oh, stay here and I'll make you soup for your hangover." she said and started to prepare the ingredients.
So caring… Definitely my type.
Jake's smile faded when Jay just entered the kitchen and sat on the island counter where Riley's gathering all the ingredients of the soup for him.
"Make me some soup too." Jay ordered her.
Riley just rolled her eyes at him and continued what she was doing.
After forty minutes, finally the soup is finished. Jake immediately grabs a spoon and bowls the same as Jay. They look like they are in a race.
"Thank you for the soup." Jake thanked Riley who smiled at him while Jay's already busy eating.
In the middle of eating their soup, Ethan and Hoon entered the kitchen too. And the two look like they are in a hurry.
Jake noticed that there were eye bags below their eyes as they approached them.
Did they stay up all night?
"What's with the black aura?" Jay also noticed.
The two ignored Jay and instead, Ethan speaks with a very serious tone of voice.
"Listen up, you two. Hoon and I have been planning this since earlier at dawn. Our fathers will be here at 8am. And we heard that they plan to take us away from mom. Afterwards, they had a plan to hurt mom because of hiding us from them years ago. So…" He knocked two times on the table. "Are you two in?"
Jay shrugged. "If that plan is going to take my father and your fathers down, then I'm in."
The three of them glance at him, who stays silent.
Jake lifts up his both hands like he's surrendering. "Consider me in."
"There. We're complete. So what's the plan?" Jay intimidatingly looked at the two.
Ethan and Hoon looked together and formed an evil smile on their lips.
RILEY WELCOMED her Masters' fathers inside the mansion. She is only familiar to Ethan's father because he was the one with Madame Lacey at the Masquerade Ball.
She slightly bowed to the four of them to give full respect.
"This way, please." She assisted them to the dining room where Madame Lacey was.
"Welcome, Gentlemen. It's a pleasure to see you all again." Madame Lacey faked a smile. It's not genuine.
She didn't invite them for a family thing but for the reason that it's a business matter especially when the main topic is the heirnes of their company which is their sons. They are going to take over the company soon so it's better to settle and talk about it as early as possible. That's what Madame Lacey's in mind.
But as for the old men, they had plans on their own. A plan to take away their sons from their mother and afterwards, hurt their mother. Or better to say, a plan to take revenge.
As if my Masters are going to let that happen.
She shook her head when she heard earlier what they were going to do to their fathers.
Such a wicked plan but it's too childish.
JAY TURNED on his walkie talkie as he spoke with the others. They were in their assigned position where they were going to take down their fathers before their mother signed the contract.
A contract that their mother knows is to take their fathers company in the future. But their fathers plan is to urge their mother to sign the contract to take over their company and to take them away from their mother so that they could finally hurt her and take their revenge.
As if I will let you, morons!
"Jay, can you hear me?" He heard Ethan's voice on the walkie talkie.
"Yep. I'm in my position."
"Good. Let's finish this before mom falls for their fucking tricks."
He readied himself. He's at the swimming pool area while Ethan is at the second floor where he sees what's happening at the dining room, Hoon is at the greenhouse and Jake is at the backyard with his dog Layla.
"They're moving." Ethan informed them. "Jake, I think your father is going to the backyard. Hoon, your father is on his way with mom to the greenhouse. And Jay, your father is going to your location. Our plan is working. They're roaming around the mansion after their breakfast. Goodluck guys. Their plan is in our hands now. It's take or leave it."
"Copy that."
"Roger that."
"Let's bring down those fuckers."
Jay quickly pulled the rope that tied to his parallel side and the height was only above his ankle -- enough to slip a person to fall -- when he heard footsteps.
A loud scream filled his ears as the person slipped off the rope and fell perfectly on the pool.
But his wide grin quickly disappeared when he saw her mother was the one who fell off to the pool. Now she's glaring at him so badly.
Uh-oh.
Shit, what was that?! Wrong move!
You're dead, Ethan!
