Chapter 24 Sprained Leg

"The way you ask, it's as if I'm the culprit, and from the look on the face, Mrs. Lula, it's very clear that You, hates me!" said Mesya.
"Wow, you dare, go up against the headmaster yourself! Speak in a high-pitched voice to an old! How impolite!" said Lula to Mesya.
Still, in the principal's office, Lula interrogates Mesya as if Mesya is the culprit, even though Lula herself already knows that it is impossible for Mesya, who is still young and only in grade 1 of junior high school, to commit a heinous act such as murder.
But because she hates Mesya so much, she looks for an excuse to corner Mesya.
"Mesya, I salute your family who is known to be very respectable and generous, but if it's with you, for some reason I don't like it a bit," said Lula.
Mesya looked surprised to hear that.
How could she talk to her like this? Even though Mesya has never done anything wrong to Lula, then how can this woman hate her so much.
Maybe it all started with Juwita's made-up words, so Lula the headmaster hated her.
The girl is indeed very talented, when acting, even to the point of making the principal believe and hate Mesya for no apparent reason.
"Does Mrs. Lula, hate me because of what Juwita said that time?" ask Mesya,
Lula frowned.
"Why are you still blaming the dead?" Lula asked Mesya back.
And Mesya was silent, it was useless for her to explain everything because Lula would not believe her.
She was already consumed by Juwita's words.
"And I also know where you're from, Mesya, that's why I know what makes your attitude so different from the rest of the Davies," said Lula.
Mesya was still silent and felt like she wanted to leave right now but she didn't want Lula to say any more harsh words.
"You're just an adopted child huh?" asked Lula.
Mesya immediately widened her pupils and looked very annoyed at Lula.
Indeed, she's just an adopted child but that doesn't mean Lula has to be curious to this extent.
This is a matter for her and the Davies family, not for Lula who is only the headmaster. And even though Mesya is only an adopted child, that also doesn't guarantee that Mesya doesn't have good manners.
"Mrs. Lula, I am only an adopted child or biological child of the Davies family, that's none of your business, Mom!" Mesya said.
"Yeah, I know it's none of my business, but I just want you to change your bad attitude. Too bad your host family would be embarrassed if they found out your true nature!"
"Mrs. Lula, indeed the principal of my school, but that doesn't mean you have to interfere in my family's life!" said Mesya.
Then without hesitation, the girl immediately stood up and left Lula.
"Hey, where are you going?!" said Lula. "We're not done talking yet!" she added.
"I don't think there's anything more important for us to talk about!" said Mesya.
"Hey wait!" shouted Lula.
But Mesha ignored it.
While walking fast, Mesya collided with David, so that both of them fell.
'Duak!'
"Sorry David, I didn't mean to," said Mesya.
David stood up again and was about to walk away from Mesya, but it seemed that Mesya was still having trouble getting up because she sprained her leg.
David looked back and approached his adopted sister.
And without further ado, David extended his hand towards Mesya.
Mesya looks surprised, why suddenly David did this, the cold man usually doesn't care about her.
"Come on, wake up! What are you waiting for?" said David.
And Mesya immediately grabbed David's hand, then stood up.
"Thank you," said Mesya.
"Is anyone hurt?" asked David again.
"Not?" replied Mesya stammering.
Even though Mesya felt something hurt in her ankle.
"Do not lie!" snapped David.
And Mesya was silent, it seemed like she was caught lying.
"Let's sit over there!" David ordered, pointing to a chair.
Mesya also obeyed David's orders.
She sat on a chair, then David knelt in front of Mesya.
"David, what do you want?" asked the Mesya.
But David didn't answer, and he started to take off Mesya's shoes.
Mesya was silent while looking at David who was busy taking off her shoes and socks.
It seems that Mesya wants to ask David about what her Brother will do.
But she was afraid that David would be angry with her.
After successfully removing Mesya's shoes and socks, David massaged Mesya's sprained leg.
Mesya is still silent and looks at David's face, which looks so focused on massaging her feet.
David's handsomeness seems to have increased drastically.
'Oh my God, is this true, my brother? His face is very handsome. And why is my heart pounding?' Mesya said in her heart.
And after massaging Mesya's legs, David pulled her so tight that he heard the sound of her bones breaking.
Instantly Mesya shouted out of reflex.
"Ah! It hurts! David!"
Then David removed his hand from Mesya's leg.
"Does it still hurt?" David asked.
And Mesya tried to stand up, then she felt her legs were no longer sore.
"Wow, David, you're great! It doesn't hurt anymore!" said Mesya excitedly.
"Good, then, I will go now!" said David.
Then David started to stand up again and was about to leave.
"Wait!" said Mesya.
Then David turned to her.
"Especially?" David asked.
"Can we chat for a bit?" asked the Mesya.
David fell silent, then he sat down in a chair.
"Come on, quickly say it, you only have 5 minutes!" snapped David.
"Ah, David, this still hasn't changed! Always restricting me whenever I want to chat with you," protested Mesya.
"Well if you don't want to chat, I'll be leaving right now!" said David.
"Oh, don't!" said the Mesya. "Fine, I'd like to chat with you, even if it's only for 5 minutes!" Mesya said with a sweet smile.
That smile made David's heart calm, David didn't feel like he was smiling too.
"David, smile?" asked the Mesya.
And David immediately stopped his smile.
"Only 4 minutes left!" said David.
"Ah, well then? I wanted to ask, why you help me?" asked the Mesya.
"Of course because Mother!" David answer.
"Why Mom?"
"Because Mom said I have to take care of my little sister!" David explained.
"I thought you were helping me because you were so worried about me!" The girl's face looks very disappointed to hear the reason from David.
"But it's okay, I still have to thank you, David," said Mesya again.
"Then, what were you doing in that principal's office?" David asked.
Mesya was silent again, she looked confused to answer, she was afraid that David would know that she had a problem with Mrs. Lula and David could endanger Mrs. Lula's safety.
