Chapter 37 Never Get Along

"L-let go, I, Arthur!" said Salsa in a stuttering tone.
"Let go, you say?!" Arthur released the grip from Salsa's chin and pushed her hard, Salsa almost fell, luckily there was David who suddenly appeared behind her.
The salsa turned to the person who had helped her, truly someone she never imagined would help, and hugged her tightly like this.
"David?" she said in a trembling voice.
Either what kind of situation this is, David, the man she loves and is so cold, suddenly helps her.
Either feeling happy or sad that's what's in Salsa's heart right now.
Arthur and David looked at each other, Arthur's face looked scary again, no smile always adorned his face.
So did David, who was still stiff and stared at Arthur with hatred.
"How long are you going to keep meddling in my personal affairs?!" asked David in a deep, muffled voice.
"Until you, really become the real Davies family," Arthur replied.
"Heh! Just a guise family!" sneered David.
"Indeed it's only a pseudonym! That's why we have to fight from now on until this pseudo-family can stand up and use the real clan, Subroto Diningrat!" Arthur explained.
"Shut up! Don't talk about our family in front of strangers!" said David.
"Foreigners?" Arthur narrowed his eyes. "You mean the stranger, Salsa?!" Arthur asked confidently.
David was reluctant to answer because he knew Arthur had understood it.
"Listen, David! She's not a stranger anymore, because Salsa will be part of our family!" Arthur insisted.
David looked angry to hear that. "On what basis did you include foreigners as part of us?! You're crazy, aren't you?!" said David.
"It's not like that, Salsa!" Arthur glanced at Salsa.
And Salsa shook her head in fear.
"She likes you. I'm sure if one day you marry her, and Salsa will be a good sister-in-law to me, she will be part of the Davies family, I'm sure she can adapt easily," Arthur said.
"NO!" shouted Salsa, still, in David's arms, Salsa barely noticed.
"Really? But a hug from my brother is very comfortable isn't it?" Arthur teased.
And Salsa immediately let go of David's arms.
"No! I don't want to be David's lover or you, Arthur! So please spare me...." Salsa pleaded.
Arthur shook his head in surprise.
"Why? Isn't that what you wanted all along?" Arthur asked.
"Yes! That was then, but not now. I beg you, let me live in peace," replied Salsa.
David began to suspect Salsa's strange attitude, he was not the usual Salsa.
She looked terrified, and even blatantly refused to be around him anymore.
It was Salsa who wanted to be his lover. Even all the threats he made to Salsa, coupled with his cold attitude, did not succeed in stopping Salsa's desire to get him.
'What has Arthur done to Salsa? Why did Salsa change?' David thought constantly wondering about this to himself.
This is what David wanted for a long time so that Salsa would no longer approach him.
But somehow it seemed that something was missing in his heart. Whether David called it what this feeling was, he was sure he didn't like Salsa at all. He just didn't want Salsa to stop chasing him.
That feeling was so far hidden from the bottom of his heart.
Salsa stepped out of the place, she didn't expect to be faced with these two scary brothers.
She was very sorry that she ever liked David, even now the love and affection are still there, but not as much as along, she already knows that the Davies family is a psychopathic family.
"Hey, where are you going, Salsa?" said Arthur while holding Salsa's hand.
David saw her very upset, Arthur had used Salsa to his advantage.
"Let her go!" snapped David.
"No, she's with us now. And soon she'll be a part of us, you like her too, don't you?" Arthur asked.
David shook his head.
"Don't lie! You also like Salsa, and I'm much more willing to let you like Salsa than My Beautiful Sister Mesya, she is our family's tool to get everything! To avenge our family!" said Arthur.
"Shut up, Arthur! Why are you talking about our family in front of this girl?!" snorted David.
"Call her, Salsa! Is it that hard to call her name?" quipped Arthur.
I don't know what Arthur was thinking, David didn't understand, his younger brother always did surprises.
He always wanted to compete with her, even this time Arthur also wanted to rule his life.
Salsa is a kind, smart, popular girl and also a model.
Despite being the daughter of a very rich person, Salsa is not like the child of a rich person in general.
Salsa has always lived independently, even she is looking for her own money to meet her needs, by working as a Model, Celebgram, or even a Commercial Star.
It's just that Salsa looks cheesy because she keeps chasing David, who rejects her.
It's not that David doesn't like Salsa, it's just that he doesn't want Salsa to live in danger if he gets too close to her.
The Davies didn't seem like an ordinary family.
His father is a psychopath and his mother is a devil worshiper.
Promises with the devil to live eternally and take revenge against his uncle's family, namely Wijaya Diningrat.
Salsa and Mesya to him are very valuable. That's why David doesn't want to accept Salsa's love and doesn't want to make Mesya his sister.
David wants them both to live a safe and normal life out there, unlike himself and Arthur. Who had to become slaves as assassins for the sake of the family's perverted ritual.
David couldn't bear to see Arthur who was still bothering Salsa. He immediately pulled Salsa's hand from Arthur's grip.
"Let go, Salsa!" snapped David.
Duak!
David hit Arthur in the face again.
"I told you, don't bother me! Why are you always such a stubborn little brother!" said David.
Salsa didn't want to waste the opportunity and she ran as fast as she could.
"I hate families, Davies! they're scary!" mumbled Salsa.
Bruak!
Salsa fell when she accidentally collided with Mesya.
For a moment Salsa glared at Mesya and then left without a word.
