Now, the girl looked at Chantelle, who was in front of her, and the other girls looked at her too. 
Then, Chantelle got the joke and attacked her, “Why are you looking at me, Alice?”
“I'm looking at you because you are the right person to answer that question.”
“Do you think so? How many times, have I met you in his house? You dissembler.”
Now, Alice, who thought that her affairs with Johnny were a top-secret, looked down at once in shame. Then, the girls giggled.
 Instantly, Alice composed and defended herself, “Yes, I was at his house just to have him put me through a course.”
“Wow! Is he a lecturer?” The other girls exclaimed.
“Yes, he is Alice's lecturer and the lecture takes place in his bed,” the provoked Chantelle looked into Alice's eyes and blurted out.
The girls and the chefs laughed happily. Then, Magdalene asked again, “We are not interested in all these talks. The two of you should tell us, is he just a Two-minute Man?”
Now, Alice faced Magdalene and attacked, “Why do you ask? You had tried to seduce him to sleep with you, but you failed.”
At that point, Magdalene looked down in shame. Chantelle glared at her and laughed happily too. 
Afterward, the canteen was quiet, and the girls had their meals in silence. 
Then, Ruby returned the empty plates and appreciated her, “Thank you, chef.”
“You are welcome, dear. I hope you enjoyed your meal?”
She smiled softly at the forty-two-year-old woman and responded. “Yes, Ma'am. I appreciate the gesture once again.”
“It is my pleasure.” 
In the whole saga, things were naturally strengthening in favor of their relationship. From the news of the humiliated Crystal, the burnt bed, and Ruby's reactions, it was clear that she was not out to ruin Johnny like the other girls. That act earned her more respect than others.
“She is fighting to keep her man," one of the chefs remarked. 
“You are right. And she is the youngest of all the girls who cluster around him.”
She walked back to the door at once and left the canteen.  Unfortunately for Adriana and Hailey, they never expected to see Ruby. So, they walked into the canteen and made jest of the post.
“Two Minutes….”
“Slap. What is two minutes?” she asked angrily.
The effect of the unexpected slap left Adriana dumbfounded. She held her left cheek with her right hand, and stared a dagger at Ruby, while Hailey looked on. Meanwhile, Ruby stood alert and waited for her reaction. 
When she got none, she warned, “Let me hear it again from you. Pig.”
It was astonishing that the two girls were intimidated by a girl. Adriana and Hailey were in a better position to attack and subdue her because she was alone, but they could not due to many factors. A girl who could dare Johnny, and he did not bother to react, must have guts. They walked past her and got into the canteen, and she walked to her room with determination.
'If the sun is not afraid of the moon, let it shine at night.' She murmured and walked on with the attitude of 'I'm the only person who is qualified to insult him'. 
Meanwhile, Adriana could not believe that she had many haters until she got to the counter to get her food. Then, a student, who had been looking for a suitable moment to get even with her, walked to the counter too and squeezed in front of her.
“Why did you jump the queue? We are here before you," she protested. 
Then, the troublemaker sized her up before she asked, “I hope you are not referring to me. Let me hear that again from you. Pig.”
At that point, raucous laughter came from the canteen. The cowards, who could not talk in Ruby's presence, could boldly address Adriana as a pig. 
At Johnny's Apartment.
After Stanley drove off, Johnny rested his head on the chair in deep despondency.
“Guy, you've got to be strong. This is a phase. It will soon be over.”
Now, Johnny tilted his head to the left and asked, “Do you think so?”
“I am certain. She loves you and that is why she is severely hurt.”
Johnny shook his head in disbelief and remarked, “I doubt it.”
“Just be positive.”
Soon, he got to the house and parked. His neighbors and the security guards had employed themselves as Ruby's watchdogs to watchdog her man. They focused on the tinted car to see which girl would come out of the car. To their relish, no one returned with them. Johnny concealed his worries and cheered up at once before he got out of the car. He looked around while greeting his neighbors, and they responded with glee. 
The janitors, who were far away from him, ran to him with gratification and greeted him, “Good day, Sirs.”
Johnny and Stanley looked in the direction of the voice saw the three janitors and halted at once.
“Good day to you. How are you?" Johnny responded and Stanley looked on.
“Fine. I have come to inform you that I have taken the delivery of the bed and bedding.”
“That is good. I hope you love it?”
“Yes Sir. I appreciate it, once again.”
“You are welcome. What is your name?”
“My name is Finley”
“Finley, what of your friends?”
“Meet Terry and Simpson," he introduced his friends simultaneously. 
“It is a pleasure meeting you, Finley.”
“Thank you, Sirs. We will be on our way.”
“It is all right.”
As they were about to take a step, they saw a trailer truck driving into the estate with a bed, and they stopped. Finley and his friends stopped too. Then, the sales representative of the company got out of the car and walked to them.
“Good day, Young Men.”
“Good day, sir.”
“I'm Mr. Cunningham, from the Grammy Interiors. I'm looking for Mr. Johnny Stewart.”
“Good day, Mr. Cunningham. I'm Johnny Stewart. I am honored to meet you," he answered.
Afterward, the beds and the bedding were taken into his house. Thanks to the janitors. Before one hour, they were through and left. Johnny, who shared the bed with Stanley the previous night, was elated. After their lunch, they rested for a while. Then, Johnny, who must study before anything, studied for an hour. Then, Stanley's phone rang.
