At that point, his only wish was to see Ruby and nothing would stop him, not even Prof. Fletcher or Prof. Farrell. He pulled off his pajamas and changed into jean knickers and a t-shirt. Then, he put on a pair of snickers footwear and hung his jean jacket before he walked out of his room. He got to the dark parlor and never bothered to put on the light, rather, he made his way to the door and got out angrily.  Like lightening, he was in his car and drove off. 
“Young Master, I hope there is no problem," One of the security guards at the security post asked when he saw the way he drove to the gate rushing. 
Not only that, the hour of the night too was not to be taken for granted.
“Open the gate, officer. I will be back soon," he responded without looking at his face, but focused on the gate. 
Nevertheless, the guard opened the gate and he drove off.
Now, Mrs. Victoria Gail, the female security guard walked out of the gate house.
“Be careful," she advised him not minding whether he heard or not.
She locked eyes with the guard while wondering what he was up to.
At the Girls' Hostel
The security guards were startled when a car screeched to a halt in front of the hostel. The new Head of the Securities who took over from Mr. Tucker, Mr. George Seth, looked at the time, and it was 1: 30 AM.
“Who could this be?” He thought aloud. 
Meanwhile, his colleagues stood up immediately they heard the screech and walked towards the gate. To their shock, they met Johnny, at the gate. He pushed it open and walked in.
“Good morning, Officers," he greeted and was impatient to wait for their response.
“My friend is ill, and I have come to pick her," he informed them, and walked on to Ruby's room.
“Hey, Young Man, it is against the rule,” Mr. Seth attempted to explain to Johnny, who was about fifty meters away. 
Likewise, he tried to walk after him, but Miss Scott, stopped him.
“Kindly stay out of his way, Boss. Let's see what he is up to.”
Now, Mr. Seth gave her a perplexed look and inquired, “What do you mean?”
At Ruby's Room
After the post, she sat on the floor, rested her back on the bed and wept uncontrollably. The pregnancy was the best thing that would happen to her, but it reminded her that, apart from Carmine, she was alone in the world. She was on the floor when she heard a kick on her door, and before she could process the sound, the door opened and Johnny walked in like a wounded lion. 
“Ouch!” She exclaimed and clung to her bed in fear as he walked closer. 
Meanwhile, Johnny was aware of the impact that his sudden appearance would have on her, so he was careful. 
However, he asked with a threatening tone, “Do you wish to come willingly with me, or do you want me to be forceful?”
Now, Ruby was awestruck and could not provide any answer to his question. Rather, she looked into his scary eyes and stuck on to the edge of her bed. Without delay, Johnny bent his knees and lifted her with his leg muscles instead of pulling her. He placed her on his left shoulder. Likewise, he picked up her phone drugs, and the pregnancy kit with his right hand and left her room.
Meanwhile, Ruby did not resist for many reasons. Firstly, the intruder was her Johnny, the love of her life. Secondly, she would not like to create a scene that would make their haters happy. Thirdly, she was too weak to fight. 
Nevertheless, even though, the guards did not stop him, they followed him to whichever room he was going. Before they got to the room, they met him carrying Ruby on his shoulder and walked past them without a word. Indeed, his friend was ill and he had come to pick her. 
When Mr. Seth saw his dauntlessness, he understood what Miss Scott meant by 'stay out of his way'. Then, he asked, “Who is he?”
“I think Mr. Tucker would explain better," Miss Scott pointed out. 
Soon, Johnny was out of the hostel and in his car. He carefully kept her on the passenger's seat and shut the door. Then, he walked briskly to the driver's door and got into his car. He looked at Ruby who was sitting helplessly, pulled the seat belt across her and fastened it. Likewise, he turned on his car engine and drove off.
At his Apartment
He got to the gate and screeched to a stop. To his vexation, the guards refused to open the gate when they noticed that there was a girl in the passenger's seat. He honked his horn, and waited. Rather than opening the gate, Mrs. Gail, the forty years female guard, who had taken the place of Lady Stewart Stewart and added mothering Johnny to her tasks, walked up to him with aggression written on her face. 
He wound down the window and greeted, “Good morning, Mrs. Gail.”
Without returning his greeting, she peeped and looked at the lady beside him and asked, “Who is she?”
Meanwhile, Johnny was too occupied with the much he had on his plate to add more trouble to it. So, he quickly answered, “It is my Ruby. Any problems?”
“How are you, Ruby?” She asked with a smile, just to confirm Johnny's claim.
“I'm fine, Mrs. Gail. And you?”
“I'm good. Welcome.”
“Thank you, Ma'am.”
Now, it was obvious that Mrs. Gail was not aware of her post on the internet. She signaled to the guard at the gate to open it and he did. Johnny looked at Ruby and swallowed hard before he drove in.
“Thank you," he managed to say. 
Shortly, he parked in the front of his house and looked at Ruby, who was not through with provoking him. She attempted to open the door and get out of the car by herself.
“Don't open that door,” he yelled at her and with trembling, she quickly withdrew her hand from the unlock handle. 
He turned off his ignition and got out of the car. Then, he walked to the passenger's side and carried her out of the car, not minding who could be looking.
