Nevertheless, the visitors, who believed that they had the right to be on the campus by that hour of the day, were cranky. “What is the meaning of this? Why should you deny us of our freedom of movement?” One of the visitors blurted out. Then, the security guard clarified, “Sir, we have closed to visitors for today. Besides, this is a campus and not a zoo or an amusement park, where you can visit for sightseeing.” Now, the visitor was ashamed. He just realized for the first time how silly his action was. “So, what about a student who fell pregnant? Mtcheew," he muttered and hissed before walking back to his car. Now, the motorists had a challenge – how to leave the campus at once. To worsen their matters, it was as though, the press was also waiting for the Vice Chancellor’s order to swing into action. The visitors were embarrassed when their cars and registration numbers were projected as the cars of idle citizens, who set out to disrupt the day’s lectures for the students. Meanwhile, Dr. Regal Hero, the Medical Director of King's Care Hospital, was mostly embarrassed. He was not the wealthiest or the most educated in the queue. He was only a medical doctor and not a public figure, but the pressmen seemed to have a special interest in his face and car, probably because of his ugly past. Now, the pressmen panned their cameras in his direction. Howbeit, he avoided hiding his face, as that would be more embarrassing. So, he maintained an unreadable expression on his face as he was navigating the easiest way to drive out of the school. Meanwhile, he queued behind a few motorists who were stuck in the traffic. Suddenly, he saw some reporters walking up to him for a Vox Pop, and they greeted him. (Hello, Dr. Hero. May we know why you are on a sightseeing tour at the campus on a working day and at official hours?) (Dr. Hero, we can see that you are having fun.) (Dr. Hero, what is your mission to the campus?) (Dr. Hero, is here an extension of your hospital?) At that point, Dr. Hero, who had ignored their questions, found it difficult to maintain decorum, so, he rolled up his window. ‘If I had known that today would be a sham, I would have left with Jason,' he muttered angrily to himself. Now, the overbearing gentlemen of the press had to pitch their tents elsewhere. At The Clinic “I used the pregnancy kit for the test.” “Why did you think of the pregnancy test? Were you sick?” “Yes, Doctor.” “That is brilliant of you. Would you wish to abort it?” Now, Ruby felt insulted and provoked, which bled into her expression, and she replied curtly, “No.” The doctor was impressed, and perceived that she had hurt her and apologized, “I apologize for my rude question.” Now, Ruby accepted her apologies with a smile on her face, “Think nothing about it, Dr. Harmon.” Now, she picked up the test strip looked at it, and smiled broadly before she announced, “Congratulations. You are six weeks gone.” “I'm delighted to hear that. Thank you, Doctor.” Now, she smiled a bit when she realized that the conception took place on her first night with Johnny. “You are welcome. Have you had your breakfast?” “Not yet, Doctor.” “It is all right. I will get you something to eat.” “Thank you for that, Doctor.” “You are welcome. Come with me.” The doctor took her to her private room in the clinic and asked her to make herself comfortable. She left the room for the canteen and returned with a plate of food for her. After the meal, she injected her with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) to manage her stress and announced, “Take a rest. I will be back.” “Ok, Dr. Harmon.” Ruby laid on her bed and watched the television. After a while, she slept off. At the Campus Johnny and Gerald turned suddenly and behold Crystal and some of her colleagues of about twenty walking to his department. Now, Johnny felt threatened and was on alert. Gerald and Stanley felt the same way and were on guard too. Then, the spokesperson of the group spoke. Meanwhile, the team had attracted the attention of other students, and they got out of the classroom to have fun. Nevertheless, it happened that an argument broke up in her department when a female student made a side comment, and asked, “Does it mean that the other girls are pregnant too?” Instantly, all eyes fell on Crystal, and she noticed it. To rub it in, a male student added, “I don't think so. The other girls could be unprolific.” “Or wombless,” another male student added sarcastically. The absence of a lecturer gave them a free hand, and they burst into laughter. Then, another boy added, “This is an eye-opener. Johnny had helped us to fish out the infertile students.” “You are right. I have known the girls to relate with in the future.” “And the girls to avoid in the future.” Now, the boys felt good and one of them shouted, “Guys, look before you leap. It is not every girl you see around, that is fertile.” “You are right. Especially in our department,” another male student concurred. At that point, Crystal perceived that her future was bleak if she allowed her coursemates to go with the notion that she was infertile, and she resolved to debunk the accusations. “He uses a sheath on me,” she pointed out, and the class roared into uncontrollable laughter. The information that Crystal thought would defend her, ended up making her future uncertain. “Or you secretly abort?” One of the boys asked. For whatever reason, her male colleagues were on Johnny's side. They laughed again, and another boy suggested, “Let's find out from Johnny.” “Yes, let's go to his department. He is the only one to attest to her claim.” Now, they were in Johnny's department and were grateful that Johnny was not with Ruby. Then, the spokesperson asked, "Johnny, we perceived that Crystal was infertile and that explained why she had not conceived for you.” Johnny had never been embarrassed in his life before like that day. He looked at the repulsive Crystal, who should be ashamed of herself, and determined, “If she is not embarrassed, I won't be either.” Then, he smiled from ear to ear and asked with equanimity, "Did she say that I slept with her?” Meanwhile, Stanley had given Crystal a hatesome look and waited for Johnny's stand before he would react. Now, all eyes were on him, and they studied his body language, which spoke calmness. Likewise, Stanley was taken aback by his question and wondered whether he misunderstood him. Then, the spokesperson proceeded, “Yes. She said you used a sheath on her.” “I can't remember giving my dog a sheath whenever he sleeps with her. Indeed, she is unproductive.” 'Ouch! Which dog,' Stanley exclaimed inwardly. Nevertheless, Gerald believed Johnny because he was not in the picture of Johnny's sex escapades. Now, Johnny's declaration worsened Crystal's situation, and she felt that she would have graciously accepted to be barren and keep her integrity. Meanwhile, all eyes were on her and she must defend herself. Before she could utter a word, the security officer who was on duty at the gatehouse the day Carmine threw her out, walked up to her and the group and put her to remembrance. “Hey! Have you forgotten so soon? We warned you that if we see you anywhere around him or his friends, you will have yourself to be blamed.” She looked down in shame, but it was too late. The security guard arrested her at once. “Thank you for your time, Johnny,” the spokesperson appreciated him. Johnny gave him a warm handshake and said, “Don't think much about it. It is good that you came, and otherwise, she would have rubbished my good name.” 'Good name, indeed,' Stanley mumbled. Then, the crowd dispersed and chanted behind her, “Bestiality. Crystal slept with dogs and not a human.” “She is not just barren, but into bestiality. She has to cleanse our school.” Although Johnny was laughing and chatting, he was concerned about Ruby's prolonged stay at the Vice Chancellor's office. “Guy, let's check on my Ruby. I don't know about what is keeping her. She had been there for over two hours.” “You are right. Let me get Carmine.” At the Administrative Block. Johnny and his friends arrived and met a blockade. All the lecturers they were expecting in their halls were there to see the Vice-Chancellor on one issue - the girl who fell pregnant. “I learned that she is our student.” One lecturer asked another. “I learned so, too.” “I wish I knew her.” “Which department is she?” “Who is responsible for the pregnancy? Is he our student?” “I can marry her at once if she is beautiful.” “I want to find out from the Vice Chancellor what he intends to do about it.” “Yes! This is embarrassing.” The discussions of the lecturers left Johnny and his friends open-mouthed, and they looked at each other. Johnny glared at the lecturer, who wished to marry Ruby. Meanwhile, the Administrative Block was inaccessible at that time because the place was crowded with visitors and staff members.
