Meanwhile, as soon as Joel walked out of his office, Sir Stewart pondered on the discussion he had with the Vice Chancellor. At that point, the television broadcast showed that the traffic at the school gate was easing off, and he called his wife. “Hello, my pineapple. Any news?” she inquired after she picked up her call. “My sweet pie. I think we can return to the school and meet the Vice Chancellor.” “I see. What about the gridlock at the gate? Will we be able to get into the school?” “Yes, the gridlock had eased off. Can we see him after work?” “Certainly.” “It is okay. I will pick you up, my sweet pie.” “I’m waiting, my pineapple.” They laughed heartily and ended the call. Then, he called Prof. Farrell at once. When he picked up his call and greeted him, Sir Stewart could feel the pressure that he was under from his voice and he empathized with him. “I hope I am not adding to your stress, Prof.” The Vice-Chancellor cheered up and responded, “Not at all. I’m relieved now that the jobless and unwanted visitors have been chased away. Concerning the fostering of the orphan, have you discussed with Lady Steward?” The VC asked coldly, hoping that she must have turned the offer down. Then, to avoid appearing desperate, Sir Stewart pretended to vacillate and the Vice Chancellor’s heart sank when he realized that he was not as enthusiastic as he was in the morning. “Yes. I have discussed it with her.” Now, the VC sat on the edge of his chair, and asked in a rush, “What was her opinion? Did she give her consent?” To taunt Prof. Farrell the more, he waited for a second or two before he responded, “She is happy with the arrangement.” “Wow! This is the best thing that has happened to me today. I love that.” “Thank you. When would you love us to come?” “I would not mind if you can come now.” “Can we keep it after work?” “It is all right by me.” “It's okay. See you then.” “See you, later,” Sir Stewart said, and smiled mischievously after he cut the cut. Meanwhile, he had seen Joel waiting for him through the surveillance television. He wondered how he accomplished the task he gave to him within a short period. Then, he pressed the intercom and Joel opened the door and walked in. “What is the matter, Joel?” he inquired. “I saw the young master’s new car in the backyard.” “What do you mean, and how did the car get there?” he asked anxiously. “I thought you were aware of it. I can make my inquiries now.” Nevertheless, he was aware that Johnny would always pull a stunt, and he advised, “Find out if he is in his office.” “It is all right, Boss.” ‘I should have thought of that.’ Joel mumbled and walked to Johnny’s office, which was on the same floor as his father. To his surprise, he could hear the television. To worsen the situation, there was no one to ask who was in the office, and he must not knock or barge into his office, the policy he got from his father. “It is only the boss, who can unravel this mystery,” he concluded and walked back to the GMD’s office. Nevertheless, Sir Stewart was hysterical when he heard the news from Joel. He looked at the car from the CCTV and was glad that it was not involved in an accident. Then, he saw Joel standing by the door, and he pressed the intercom and waited anxiously for him to open the door. “Is he there?” “I can’t tell. But someone is there. The television is on.” Without a word, he got out of his seat at once and headed for Johnny’s office while Joel followed him. At Johnny’s office. Although the television was on, he was lost in thought. The fact that his Ruby was unreachable and not at the Vice Chancellor's office was like a dagger stabbing him in the chest. 'Who is the father of the baby if not me?' (Creak) Johnny was startled when he heard the door open. He jolted from his daydream before his father appeared. Nevertheless, Jason was bothered when he saw the fear on his son's face. He was aware that he was always in control of his life, an attribute that he cherished so much, even though he often used it against him. “Son," he called out when he walked into his office and shut the door. He browsed him for a second and noticed that he had emaciated. “Dad," he responded with a pitiful voice and got up from his seat. At that point, they pushed their grievances aside and engaged in a passionate hug, which gave Johnny some emotional support. Sir Stewart wrapped his arms around him and held him close to his chest as though he would lose him to someone else. “I'm glad to see you, Son," he whispered and attempted to let go of him, but Johnny held him tighter. He wished that he would happily whisper to him that he would be a grandfather soon, but he was overburdened with Ruby's position. When Johnny was satisfied that he had tapped enough energy from his father, he released him. “I miss you, Dad,” he announced with a smile. Nevertheless, Sir Stewart was glad to hear that, and he responded as he gave him a searching look. “We miss you too.” Now, Johnny walked back to his cleaned swivel chair and took his seat, while his father was still standing and observing him. “You can have your seat, Father," he requested and signaled him to the dusty guests' chairs in front of him. His father, who was happy that he had gained his confidence, asked, “On these dusty chairs?” “That is the result of withdrawing my staff.” Whatever the case is, he was happy to have him and was prepared for his fight. Then he requested, “Come with me, Son.” “It is all right, Father,” he responded and got up at once. They got out of his office and he locked the door. “Young Master,” Joel, who was waiting at the reception, called out merrily. Johnny turned after locking the door and faced him, “Good day, Mr. Joel,” he greeted. “Good day, to you. Why did you drive out of your school without guards?”
